  • @ahomevideoonline you can still wear the same clothes

  • @SteezyKING and you can still listen to the same 90's music :D fuck whats popular today

  • @ahomevideoonline I second that

  • @ahomevideoonline i was young blood! im 36 now. and yes u r 100% correct. it was da bomb yo! i tell people all the time i wish i was 18 again, or 20. but it will have to be the 90's again tho. i would never want to be a youngster in this era. the music and the culture is WHACK! well most of it. peace!

  • @jarobi27 its good to be a teen in this era i listen to 80's and 90's still i rock the 90;s style and im brining it back to my school and im 15. just teach your kids what real music is they will love it!

  • @ahomevideoonline just swagg the 90's im brining 90's clothes back at my school, just keep that shit crisp and clean people will start likin it

  • @ahomevideoonline You can still listen to this kind of music, wear whatever you want and dance whatever way you want..you don't have to be from the 90s era. Fuck what other people think..Any who, RickThaRuler!!

  • Pure unfiltered HIP-HOP!

  • The crazy thing is, how the late 80s legends like Slick Rick, Masta Ace, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, KRS-One, Kool G Rap and even EPMD could still rip the mic today. It shows you that age does not necessarily dent your skill.

    Smooth song by the ruler...

  • I love this song, we are going to do a video of this to pay tribute.....check out my Mona Lisa video and tell me what you think.......

  • luv it

  • Best oldskool rapper, nuff said

  • @frankwhite432 Hell yeah!!

  • The one intelligent rapper that I actually understand every single word. GREAT

  • yep.slick rick added a sense of sophistication to hip hop

  • Eminem is not on that list of immortals jack ass! Seriously? You need to expand yer rap universe if you think Eminem belongs on that list buddy.

  • lol slick really looks like dizzy. i wonder if dizzy stays in the stays in the states for a bit can develop this accent. it would be well cool

  • MC Ricky D strikes again with another story. One of the best to ever touch a mic. Tell them suka MC's to "Lick the Balls"!

  • Smooth as silk.

  • The Ruler! The Storyteller!!!! What a talent!!!!!!!!!

  • yooo thats flex in :50 i aint kno he was a background dancer lol

  • take the biggy and pac comments on there videos not here this is the REAL story teller

  • classic :)

  • not to bash anyone or be out of line but i'd say pac is better than biggie simply coz his music moved more people than any other rapper i know of. might not be the most skilled rapper ever but i'd say he's one of the most influential musicians ever.

  • damn i like that voice too much style.. damn.. tha ruleeerrrrrrr.. one of my favorites rap star of all tha time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! el primer rapero que me puso on time con las prendas!!!!!!!!!!!!tha gold daddy?,,,

  • Why are you all talking aboouy 2 pack and Biggy on such a lengens (who's lucky still alive) page????

You should be biggin up how heavy this tune is, Slick ricks lyrical content is amazing on this track.... so deep with out any cursing.. how refreshing.

  • instead of biqqie & pac

now its qettin lyte & jerkin

  • Biggie lyrically is better than than Pac, but Pac made a shit load of songs. Both were good but if u compare both of their best songs biggie wins in my book

  • woah he has a nose piercing

  • enough of ur opinions of pac like you know the guy.

  • crazy gotta

  • CRUMBZ...

  • LOL Rick showed all them sukas up

  • So ahead of his time

  • Ohhh thank you! Damn right and heads still sleep on him?! One of the best to EVA do it!

  • Yeah, he was really the first good story teller to rap. No one else was that ahead of his time until Biggie came out. It sucks that he went to jail for so long. He could have had a great career. But hey...sometimes you just gotta shot a motherf*&^%

  • I respectfully disagree. See 2pac is still the most advanced MC ever IMO. He's did for music what Bruce Lee did for Martial arts. Their spirit transcends all barriers and demands your love whether you even liked their passion at the time it converts you instantly. They had messages that are still unheard and or underrated/misunderstood today. Biggie had the some of the cleanest delivery ever but as a WHOLE artist Pac set his own level that IMO we won't see again in our lifetimes.

  • What the fuck.... come on, we get it, Pac kicked ass. But he's the furthest thing from the "most advanced MC ever" he wasn't even an MC he was a rapper. Slick Rick was an MC. Pac was a down ass dude and all but he was just a black dude with a mic talking about his life and heads respected him for it... but he wasn't a storyteller. He wasn't no Slick Rick. Even the old names like Brand Nubian, Das Efx, Gang Starr, MC Lyte, Yo-Yo, ATCQ, etc were more "advanced", and did more for hiphop than Pac.

  • you got it all wrong grem. how was pac not an emcee. when someone says pac wasnt an emcee that shows everyone they know nothing. he was just a black dude with a mic talking about his life? thats like saying every average nigga from brooklyn can rap. thats bullshit. pac was an emcee, his lyrics were amazing, he was one of the wisest men to ever touch the mic. Pac could inspire you just by one line. listen to any one of his songs, he mixes talent with intelligence. slick rick is an amazing mc.

  • I've made my point. Pac was an excellent _rapper_, but not all of his music was a life-experience story that could teach. A lot of it (thanks to the mainstreamers pushing his career in a commercial direction) was just gangster rap about the usual gangster-related shit. The shit I think a lot of people are tired of hearing these days. All of Slick Rick's music for instance was a story, an experience, used as a teaching tool for people to learn from. This song is a great example of that.

  • i agree with grem i think hes right

  • there was other rappers more advanced than 2pac, he was not the greatest

  • tupac was a rapper with a message. thats what made him good. pac carried a lot into his songs and people responded. He's the best political rapper ever but i dont think he is the best ever. He's up there but there are other rappers around. On the other hand biggie was a disgrace to rap not carrying anything special with his rapping.

  • Biggie, was an inspiration, showing and bringing out rap from the East side,

Biggie executed smooth lines, and was actually great at freestyle.

Pac wasnt half as good as biggie in freestyle, but its agreed pac wrote amazing lyrics.

yall can keep arguing, who is the best rapper, but fact is, everyones taste is different

  • biggie never had a message in his rap. Rap is about lyracism. Biggie knew how to rap but he didnt have any good messages to give out

  • but he knew how to tell a vivid ass story

  • And Pac was not as clever as MC's like B.I.G., Canibus, Nas, Slick Rick, etc. He did not use any metaphors, punchlines, internal rhyming, complex rhyme schemes, and all of that, he was very simple in his lyrics. All Pac had was a socially conscious messages in his music, but then he would talk about shooting niggas and fucking bitches in the next. What was up with that? Pac was a hypocrite, and just an above average MC.

  • Pac has never ever made me feel "spiritual, breaking down barriers, inspiring" or whatever the hell these people are saying. They make it seem like he's some sort of prophet. There are ALOT of rappers who are more talented then Pac, and he is NOT even close to being the greatest rapper ever. Del tha Funkee Homosapien or Ras Kass inspire me with their sick lyrics, not Pac. BIG beats Pac flow-wise and cleverness of lyrics. Pac may beat BIG in song topics, but who cares? BIG has more skill.

  • in my eyes 2pac was more of poet/songwriter and in that style of rap he was incredible

but when your talking about straight up rapping with techniques like interior rhyming, double meaning, metaphors, and comparisons biggie is much better

but overall in my opinion : Biggie > 2pac

  • KhudaHeat, I have to agree with your last comment, but only so far...

Pac was a performer and a very intelligent man. I think a lot of it was a show because he knew what would sell records. He covered all bases by appealing to young black males with a chip on their shoulder all the way to the white boys in clubs and then all the way to those who just appreciate clever, "socially concious" lyrics.

This approach to his music, I agree, leads to a somewhat hypocritical image.

  • listen, i don't think one can call one single 'the best of all time', simply because no one deserves that title because of one simple fact.

No way in hell does everyone in hip-hop have the same taste, its why you've got KRS fans and 3rd Bass fans, you can't define one MC as the best possible MC to listen to according to everyone who listens to hip-hop.

  • his flow and voice is crazy

  • word. and ya gotta love his voice too

  • Wait...is this the same chick from the Big Poppa video?

  • Super underrated album.

I saw Slick Rick a few weeks ago in LA. Kind of bling-less, though.

  • I thought he was banned from the US

  • {look up} Slick Rick Feels Like... if your tryin to hear a story

  • Comment removed

  • a true MC

  • Man Slick Rick needs to drop another album

    rap legend!!

  • yeah....to save hip hop

  • my fave old school rapper x3

  • i'll start with cube, he is legend west coast, listen to song"gangsta rap made me do it" its answer to pizzaman dont forget nwa.

slick rick legend emcee from england there is no storyteller like him, he is street but he's not talkin about who he shot or else this talks about his intelect, meny legends learnd from him much like andre 3000 and .......snoops debut doggystyle lodi dodi, montel jordans hit this is how we do it(childrens stories beat)... word up rick u tha man

  • best ever maybe, favorite ever yes

  • My favourite MC of ALL TIME!!

  • Slick Rick need to release a new album cause he was to raw.

  • he said he was waitin fo a more mature crowd.

  • I could understand that but c'mon fans are fans just be happy about it.

  • I know I know, but its his choice. if I wasn't so damn mad cause of it I'd probably understand that

  • True.

  • I mean, look at the cats that the kids be listenin to. he would fall out because he's got a different (better) flow and lyrics.

  • yeah i know that the sad part. There are people outside saying that Lil Wayne is better then slick Rick and that's just show's that some of these dude's don't have a good education about hip hop.

  • who the hell said that? i'll beat their ass!

  • Alot of these punks on youtube.Lol

  • lmao lil wayne is a lil wiener id take rick ovr wayne any day ...hell id take brtittany spears...lil wayner is a douchebag

  • Lol. it would be funny if they labled lil wayne as gangster rap.Lol

  • Umm....I believe they do! He talks all that gangsta talk so little kids think hes hard and a gangsta.

  • Comment removed

  • Dang then that's sad cause a dude that dude is so phony. I mean the cat is frontin like he aint homo i have nothing against gay's or bisexual's but when you are frontin like your not then that's messed up.

  • @dirtdogg619 he's not waiting for a more mature crowd. he's waiting for hip-hop to come back or at least improve a little. but if he wants it to improve he is going to have to do somethingand and not wish and wait.

  • One of the Ruler's best.

  • how this album never got the attention of the masses is beyond belief it just shows u that hip hop was on the decline at this point and that GARBAGE they called gangster rap was in thats wat killed hip hop
