@XbenjaminXL3 Drifting allows euu to enter curves without slowing down,hence faster the speed of the car. And its a good opportunity to overtake while drifting at curves.

@XbenjaminXL3 I've heard the physics engine in OutRun prevents you from gaining speed during a turn, so if you can hold the line without it, you can keep up your speed. Add this up over several curves in a race and...
