I'm an Irish film student, coming close to the end of college, and I want to do something revolutionary; a production and funding company that is completely independent and more innovative than the disappointing and relentless government funded IFB and RTE. So as you can imagine, I was amazingly disappointed when I found out Ireland isn't covered by the co-op. But this video really inspires me and I only wish that I could have a chance.

I'm so impressed by what the members of the cooperative group have already achieved that it doesn't surprise me to see ventures like this in place. I disagree with banks and the way money is manipulated by them but to see a british public have a say in the way everything is done is inspiring. The one thing that does surprise me is how little about the cooperative group is known in the public realm. Not many employees can claim to be the shareholders and decision makers of their companies future.
