Hunting performs a vital search and dispatch function whereby sick, weak and injured foxes are killed. heres an example of hunters. A work collegue of mines son had a brand new car for christmas.. just hours after taking it out for a drive, the wonderful hunt had sent the deer in the fields running amuck.. straight into the road = seriously damaged car, thank god they were not injured or there had been a young family in that car, just one of the reason thease hunters need keeping in check.

Shooting is rarely an instant death if it's a bad shot, which it often is and can result in many of the problems mentioned below. Any sort of education should tell you that having your neck snapped and therefore your entire central nervous system cut off will be a far quicker and less complicated death. Anyone who says that hounds dont kill instantly by this method is quite obviously a cretin. It's natural instinct, what hounds are born and bred to do.

Have you been present at *every* kill? I suspect not. So you have no evidence that your conclusion follows from a sound premise. There are videos available which show kills which are long and agonizing. You might want to do some research.

Hunting performs a vital search and dispatch function whereby sick, weak and injured foxes are killed. Death in the wild with the absence of natural predators involves pain, sepsis, gangrene, starvation and hypothermia for days.

I really wish you hunting with hounds supporters would do a little bit of research before you spout rubbish off. It can hardly be called a British tradition, it was brought over by the norman nobility after 1066, who are french are they not, you may have heard a little history about the new forest in hampshire. Hunting foxes originated here but that is only due to the fact that most traditional prey had already been hunted out of existance by then, so lets call it what it is, a French tradiion.

since the ban we dont hunt hares anyway! but all the areas we hunt over have a very good population and it is only the weak old ill and the odd young hare we used to catch pre ban, hares are wonderfull creaturs and i have alot of respect for them. i do shoot wood pigeons not as often as iwould like but i mainly get asked to shoot ferals and rats as i dont own a shotgun, honestly though i love what i do.

heres an example of hunters. A work collegue of mines son had a brand new car for christmas.. just hours after taking it out for a drive, the wonderful hunt had sent the deer in the fields running amuck.. straight into the road = seriously damaged car, thank god they were not injured or there had been a young family in that car, just one of the reason thease hunters need keeping in check.

This video just goes to show what unintelligent, illiterate, idiotic, pathetic group hunt saboteurs are! If thats the best they can come up with then hunting under the ban is still safe. If my horse was confronted with anti's at close quarters then I think the biting and kicking that she does on command may come in useful. Hopefully would put an anti in hospital!

good job, there can never be an excuse for hunting- if you inflict pain, suffering and kill other beings for fun then rational logic dictates that you are perverse- it goes against the norms of society (the other so called pest control lies were proved wrong by this particular hunt several times)this society has outlawed now we have to imprison the animal abusers, just like child abusers

I enjoyed hunt sabbing so much best years of my life, I was annoyed when the goverment banned fox hunting as it was more fun trying to distrupt the sport, now on sundays i just stay in bed!

If you were annoyed when the government banned fox hunting you were doing it for the wrong reasons.
More to the point the ban has had very little effect on this so-called "sport". It is hunting season now & hunts are carrying on all over the country regardless of the ban.

Sabs don't do that and as the ban starts to get enforced we won't be calling hounds anyway, we'll just be monitoring for illegal activity. It's the hunts themselves who take hounds across railway lines and roads and there've been lots of press reports to verify that. You're obviously a bit confused. Maybe you've fallen out of your ivory tower and landed on your head.
