One thing I like about these Japanese vertical shooters is that the fights start to resemble abstract art; an intrinsic beauty.

The game authors must be masochists to develop a boss like that, but looks fun if you have the money for extra credits!

You oughta take this shit for what it is, this isn't the hardest boss battle EVER it's the lamest tactic an arcade manager ever comes up with, if a kid wants to beat the game he has to keep pouring quarters in to brute force his way through. Basically this game was designed so you would buy victory, the better you are, the cheaper the price.

Actually, you are only able to access this boss if you're on your first coin only. So yes, it is the hardest boss battle EVER.

fair enough, i was wrong. But still... Alot of this is just randomly throwing insain shit out till the player dies, he bombs like 50 times just to live long enough to do damage.

You gotta bomb to survive, because if you bomb, the boss automatically puts up a shield that makes itself immune to ANY bomb damage.

So yeah, this is like a "special surprise" to those that think they're good enough to beat this boss on their first coin, then bam. Raped in the ass.

huh no... i saw the boss take damage every time he fired a bomb. Except near the end where he started having to set up an IV drip of quarters.

oh those "drip of quarters" are the shields that prevent the bomb from taking damage. My bad.

they might on a first play or something to see the rest of the game so they can know what's up ahead instead of possibly wasting more money to start again and get wasted later on. statistically, continuing saves an extra quarter/whatever they use for credits :V for later runs. I'm sure though they wouldn't continue through the whole thing though.

haha wtf this game is made for a cliche market of hardcore shmup players who seek a greater challenege , this game is fully fair and defeatable with extreme amounts of practice , cave dont make there games without flawless design and i think you have to realise ppl who play this stuff find the challenege and difficulty and the learning process massively enjoyable unlike a more casual gamer who just wants flashy graphics and auto aim halo .
