Agree, I tried the FX5700 and can't even get a playable FPS at the lowest settings set aside the FX5500. The FX series was a huge disapointement and the Radeon 9 series owns that time, I regret buying a GeForce FX5700 that time, should have a bought a Radeon 9600 which was much cheaper and can perform better than FX5950. Till today I hate nvidia because of that card

I have the same situation as marcelolimajr2007.

FX5500 runs the game with spectacular graphics. Although its not even in the supported graphics card list, it supports HDR and normal mapping; Eye catching scenes that make your jaw drop to the floor.

Sadly however, the performance is far below 'playable'. You have to wait a few minutes to only start a race, and thats when you are running on the lowest graphics level. its definitely the GPU not the memory. Overclock is the way to go.

lol what do you mean by " what configured?" , and the game is need for speed pro street, the new need for speed game , and only a geforce 8600 gt can run this game on full grafics at 1024 x 768
