This song spoke to me deeply from the very first time I heard it in 1999. It has gotten me through a lot of rough spots and bad relationships/friendships. The way I interpret the words is that you don't have to stick around if someone is treating you less than what you deserve. If that happens, cut your losses and leave him/her in the dust. Life is too short to put up with bullshit!!!
