• wow that's easy

  • this is awesome. I cant wait to try this with my new rescue (i think he's part collie). he's probably about 4 months old now and ive taught him to sit, stay, come, lay down, and wait patiently when i put his food dish down until i give the release command.

  • that dog is too freakin cute! <3

  • A lot of people are commenting that they would get bitten or lose a hand if they were to attempt this. In this case, you should be working with your dog to eliminate this. It's not safe to have a dog that snaps at your hand for a treat. You (and other people) should be able to walk right up to the dog and take the dogs food bowl while he is eating, take away a rawhide he is chewing, and have him completely desensitized to your hand in his feed bowl. You need to work on this before any tricks

  • Will try this with our 6 month old Staffie, he can already sit, wait, paw, high five, where's your ball (he goes and looks for it and finds it!) picks things up really quick

  • If i do that ill lose a hand =(

  • awww its so cute

  • ya know the most pain in the arse dog teach tricks to is a huskie crossed with a pitbull. the clostest u get it to do is to speak unless it bites ur hand off

  • i taught my dog roll over about 4 months ago, it took her 2 days to learn it and she is still doing it now, (Millie's a shih tzu cross) she can also stay on command, lay on command and go on her hind legs on command.

  • our boston is about 4 months old and she knows lay down, crawl, up, (as in stand on the hind legs and balance) high five, and, sit

  • our boston is about 4 months old and she knows lay down, crawl, up, (as in stand on the hind legs and balance) and, sit

  • my dog is three. i guess its true you can't teach a old dog new tricks :\

  • yayyy my doggie mastered roll over in 15 minutes :D (he's a 12 week old genius american eskimo pup hehe) I had already taught him sit, lie down, spin, high 5, and shake- and couldnt think of another trick thats easy for a pup to do... Great technique!! (btw if you want to see my dog doing tricks i have a video called My lil' Beau) Thank you!

  • @koibito77 I have a silky terrier pup and i taught him how to sit in 5 minutes its so kool :P

  • i tried but my dog is like no way!!!

  • Thanks I'm sure to try it out.

  • my dog is too big to do the roll over

also he doesnt like going on his back only on his side

  • my boston is dumb and when he is supposed to go on his back to roll he always stands up and turns around what the fuck am i supposed to do

  • Cute doggie!!!

  • my dog did it shes a black lab she got it easily but its funny wen u try to teach her new things she just looks at me like im crazy or somethin

  • @beyoncegirl553 lucky my dog is a pomeranian and he is so loud all the time he doees not listen to me and when i till him to sit he lays down till him to lay down he sit

  • well then hes only gonna do that when you put a treat near his face...

  • Thats a very cute dog :D ANd an easy learn video :) !!!

  • see that doesn't work with my dog see when i turn the treat she just turns it as far on one side and look at me lik i'm crazy haha

  • im teaching my puppy this but shes doesnt get it ive done like a trillion times erg any advise

  • @kimandcolleenshow i just watched another vid and it said to have the dog lay down and then you roll them on the their right side...then hold their left paw with your left hand and help guide them over. After give them a treat. While you are turning them say roll over.

  • aww prtty puppy

  • it work with jack russels

  • labs don't work or at least mine dont

  • rottwiler and german shepard dosent work.

  • if i put a dog treat in my doberman pinscher/chihuahua's nose she'll bite my finger off

  • lol funny my dog slaps me when hes in trobble and he wants to look cute

  • german shepard wont work i got 1

  • thanks soooo much i am totally going to try this. thanks:)

  • your dog is soooooooooooo cute!!!!!!!!;]

  • helpful.

  • haha i bought my dog sally some bacon bites and when i showed her them she begged and slapped me with her paws!! ha she soo cute.. she freakin staring at me right now lol

  • cute!

  • I KNOW WAY EASYIER WAY TO ROLL OVER get him/her to liedown then put the treat near the nose and move near shoulder then they roll over much easier

  • I'm currently trying to teach my Lapp this trick. My older sister taught her to shake hands in less than ten minutes, so I know the dog is pretty bright, she just needs to be motivated. She too follows the treat and usually just gets up rather than roll over, though. Still need to work on it.

  • how did she teach to give paw cause im struggling with my dog??

  • @kingsn0wman Had a hard time with mine too at first, but now she just keeps giving it lol I'd say just say "Give paw" Then take it, and say "Good dog..." Eventually they will do it without you taking it. Anyway it worked with my Boston Terrier.

  • For me, it was easy, because she slaps me with her paw when she wants my attention to begin with, so my sister just put the treat in her closed fist and put it in front of her while she was sitting. For a while she just poked at it with her nose trying to get it, and when she eventually pawed at the hand, my sister gave her the treat. She repeated it a good few times until the dog started to paw at the fist every time, which is when she started to give the command.

  • @kingsn0wman its easy tell your dog to shake then grap her paw and put it in your other hand then say good boy/girl and give her the treat repeat this a few times and and then see if she does it on her own.

  • OHHHH I just got my first dog this year and have no clue how to teach him tricks lol (besides sitting) thanks for posting^^

  • This is fine for a small dog. But my dogs a big black lab and he just rotates his head to get to the treat. He dosent need to turn or anything lol.

  • cute lol but i have made up a better technique for rolling over.

  • i try to teach my dog to roll over... and i do tht nose thing but he keeps getting up to get the treat!!!!!! ahhhgg!!!

  • can i do it to my baby shih tzu..coz its playful

  • lol i saw is Penis!!! XDD

  • Oh wow. You need help...

  • yes very good of you, maybe you noticed, 40 percent of every human has one^^

  • you wanna take it inside ya?

  • and big

  • mine is bigger LOL

  • how can i do it i have rottwiler he's age 3 or 7

  • i have a big dog and this dosnt work because whes to big to fall down n stuf

  • people do need to remember not all dogs are comfortable with rolling over .. corgis for instance are good for rolling over there shoulders a line with there tail bone... collies are good to... really the only way to find out is to try it .. if after a few weeks they dont like it .. dont force them just let it go and move on to something else

  • my dog is afraid of people and screams if i get near the side of her body, so i don't thing this video is going to work

  • huh im going to go try that right now

  • can i try this on a 3 yr old pitbull ?

  • you can always teach an old dog new tricks. I'm kidding thats not old :D

  • how about a 14 year old boston....

  • Lol. My dog bit my finger xD

  • will this work with a golden retrever/goldenlab?

  • lol

  • I have a boston terrier puppy 4 months old (ringo starr) and he learned how to roll over in 2 minutes from this video! Thanks!! However, when I try to play dead he rolls over! HEEEELP

  • -.- my dog wont listen, its a min pin too much focused on the puperoni (yes its a treat not a pepperoni) yea tried to take my arm off but i made him sit and did the roll over and bang, nothing happened just sat there looking at the treat... help

  • its kinda hard when you have a rotti which is just 7 months old n jumps on you taking you down !

  • lol im going to try it. . . .

but i think it will be more difficult for me cause i have a golden retriever that will eat my hand if i have a treat in it. Lol atleast there smart.

  • omg thank you this is great my dog learned this in leteraly 5 minutes and i only used 9 treats and they were thos natures recipe little chicken flavored things that are like 2m thank you so much!

  • thank u

  • cool my dog is 6 do u think its to late to train her?

  • its never to late to teach a dog its just gonna be harder once it gets older

  • ok thx ill try to train her

  • i'll have to teach my pom these tricks!

  • thank you very much my dog knows one trick now

  • Cute puppy! Thanks for the vid. I really want to teach my yorkie (4 months) these 2 tricks. So far she knows sit, down and give paw.

  • see i would love to teach my dog this but he is a german shephard and putting a treat near his noise would result of the amputation of my hand

  • @italiangaara LOL, same i have a pitbull cross-breed.. XD

  • @italiangaara ahahahahahahaha xDDDDDD

  • @italiangaara my german shepherd would never bite my hand even with food on it

  • @italiangaara

    HAHA thats funny LOL!

  • @italiangaara same here bro if you put your hand even 2 inches from his nose your a dead man and mine`s a girl....lol

  • @italiangaara LOL

  • @italiangaara thats funny

  • @italiangaara lol exactly !

  • That definitely willbe impossible with my Maggie. She's too crazy.

  • That's awesome! My dog knows how to shake hands and give high-fives, but now Imma try teaching these to her!

  • My dog knows, It's name.. stay, sit, lay down, crawl, speak, dance, shake a paw, other paw. High five, play dead, and at the moment i am trying to teach him how to roll over.. I also taught him to stay out side before i come in the door, then he is aloud in.

  • how do you teach it to high five, speak and dance? i think its impossible with my dog she looks at me life shes really confused

  • my dog knows high five but i think i tought him it by putting food in my hand and lifting his paw into my hand then keep doing it until he knows he'll get a treat like that but make sure you say give me paw every time

  • Now it can roll over !!!

And it will put it's toy's in his bed... o yah !

  • put a video of him doin all that..if he can..

  • You know, its funny, i knew some one just had to say something like that ... Well i'll call your bet... subscribe and i will message you telling you the video is up ... it will be about a week. I have high school to worry about right now .

  • lol i was jus messin

  • wow you make it look so easy- I'm going to try this with Stella my miniature Schnauzer!

  • Lol aww he's soo cute & chubby 8D

  • My little Pembroke Welsh Corgi won't even sit! Oh, and your little puppy is so cute!

  • wow your dog is a noob.

  • SHUT UP, WATERZOIP!!!

  • i have a boston terrier who is nine weeks old and she knows the command sit but i cant teach her lay down

  • I can't get mine to lay down either! you are not alone, sk8tallmiranda!!!

  • Put a treat on the ground and when it lays down say good boy/girl and prays her. Keep doing that, that's how most teach their dog.

  • Put a treat on the ground and when it lays down say good boy/girl and prays her. Keep doing that, that's how most teach their dog.

  • I have 2 bostons, one lays down very well on command (took training) the other only lays down to get a treat but won't stay down. My boy took a while, now does it easily, Bostons are stubborn, once they learn something tho, they will do it forever! I'm going to try to get them to roll over by using this method

  • At first, my 6 month old Papillon would not even try to roll over - like the rest of you that posted it didn't work for them. But tonight, my second day of trying this with him, he now rolls over on command. I thought my dog would never do this because he hates to be on his back. But after around 3 hours (broken up into mini segments of time) of trying, he now rolls over just by my taking my hand around his head with no treat in the hand - then I throw the treat to him from the other hand.

  • I love this video, he's absolutely adorable and precious.

Check out the videos of my dogs. :) <3

  • I'm gonna teach my Samoyed this trick!

  • my dog gives up easily and just stands up to get the treat. and also, he lies down with his legs apart and its hard to roll him over. HELP!

  • I taught my dog to play dead by saying the command then gently pushing on his shoulder until he rolled on his side. He's not the brightest so it took him a while, but he finally made the connection. For roll over, I just held the treat on the base of his neck and he naturally rolled over to try and get it.

  • I am not saying the way you taught your dog rollover is wrong but it did not work for mine :(

  • my dog is brittney spaneil it took him 1 try and he did it

    thx

  • it looks easy with this terrier but how about a doberman pinsher?

  • i wouldn't try it with a doberman XD

  • why not? =p

  • I have a Coton De Tulear and when I TRY to teach her to roll over, She ALWAYS trys to BITE it our of my hands! and sometimes bites my thumb...(it doesnt hurt that much though) does anyone have any advice?

  • thank you

  • hes so cute and thank you

  • That's the cutest dog in the world. I want one in a couple years.

  • My dog couldn't learn roll over, because when she sees a treat she knows to sit. But even when i put it down she just puts her head down and leaves her whole body up.

  • mine is so fat he'll rip of my hand! LOL

  • my dogs too much of a retard to do it

  • mine too. she doesnt listen. she just whines until i just give up and let her have the treat. oh well..

  • cute dog

  • In my opinion the first time you tried to make the og play dead the poor lil guy looked abit confused, but the thing that got me is that after he did what you wanted then ure meant to say 'BANG' worked for me sevrel times...x

  • thx

  • that's so cool

  • my dog is 12 weeks old an i have a chihuahua an ur trainin tip really helped me it took me 3 days to train my dog an i started him on chopped roast.well any dog would be crazy over that.but anyways now he does it jus to have his toy i will make a video soon to sho you his progress thank you so much=)

  • Lol my dog eats shoes too!

  • aww lil boston

  • will it work if i try it on my smelly fat dog? cuz she is soooooo dumb

  • i still dont no how to teach my puppy that bang thingy can some one teach mr plz

  • what you do is get your dog to sit. then make a gun formation with your thumb and index finger and say "bang" if your dog doesn't respond right away don't give up! keep working on it. also you can teach the trick by getting the dog to lay down and then say bang and form a gun with your hand(as stated previously) the best thing i have found to use as a treat is ol' roy bone treats. break off pieces of the bone. i'll try to make a video of my grandmother's do performing all of the tricks she knows

  • Does this work with large dogs too?

  • Thanks a lot for the free lesson :-D

  • thank you! i hope this works on my beagle

  • thats the cutest boston terrier ever!

  • i used to have a boston terrier i miss him

  • Thanks for teaching in such a simple way! I'll try that with my 18 months Brittany Spaniel.

Greetings from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil!

  • Awesome video thanks for the teach that tricks!

  • My dog is scared when i say BANG. She IS only 9month!

  • lol, my dog is a scaried cat, if he sees another dog he just run aways :( i cry when that happens...i want him to play with other dogs :(

  • I can get the roll over but how can you actually do the play dead because if he do roll over he'll just keep moving :[

  • i know i have a pug and she just wants the treat....shes a fatass

  • Is it harder to teach dogs tricks if they are older dogs? Dogs like 7 years or so?

  • yea my pug is 7 years old and im not sure it's gonna work as well

i suppose it will just take a little longer for older dogs to learn

  • lol my dog is seven and he acts like a baby like when we leave the house for like 5 mins he goes sick barking lol and he s very fit so i should think some dogs can

  • My pug can now play dead , but first he must lie down =P

  • ur boston is adoreable! i cant get over those ears! so cute! im not sure my boston will learn that... shes 8!

  • how long do you think the dog will learn? Benny (my boston) already knows how to sit, and down. but i taught him that when he was a puppy...he will be three in november...do you think it's too late to try to teach him any tricks like this?

  • D= I tried this with my dog, he froze when I moved the treat at his side and then just started barking and snarling like a cornered wolf or something. xD

  • but how do they know to do it when you say bang?

  • Conditioning

  • omg thanks! :D ♥ my puppys so dumb

  • thanks, that will really help me out! :D

  • i think you gotta say BANG when he rolls over to the side.. and also you gotta say Roll Over when he rolls over..

  • lol

  • oh what a cute lil guy!!

    thnx for posting!!

  • thats sooooooo CUTE

  • lol my cat rolls over but not my dog

    wtf weird =]
