if they did indeed use a plastic escape wheel and pallet its not a stupid as you think look at the back and tell me how you get it of without damage ? Well plastic needs no lubrication and even if it wears it wont wear if both the pallet and the escape wheel are the same material so ... no lube and small wear .. V metal that = low wear until lube dry and then no repair and big wear .. Hmmm maybe not so stupid time will tell
