  • Thanks for posting this. Where I live, it has been extremely hard to get help for my son. A person within the school system actually told me once that they would not do what my son needed because blind children are too expensive. He is now 8 and very delayed because I still struggle to get him the help he needs. He has so much potential and is very humorous. They still refuse to do what he needs. I am encouraged so much by this video. Thanks to all of you.

  • You need to report that person to the department of education in your state because, BY LAW, schools are NOT ALLOWED to refuse education to anyone. IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) protects your son making sure he receives the education he deserves, even if a school district does not want to give it to him.
