happy to see someone else with an enthusiasm for stone. what do you think about using rubble? i've used concrete rubble that you can often get for free for the sake of concrete backfill
@dasearsestower . I am a fan of plain gravel. just because I am doing the work for other people and I want to make sure they see gravel going in as I promised. then I am sure of myself. I have noticed from experience that large pieces of stone can work as a wedge and push a wall from behind. hard to explain but always ask the local professionals. thanks Mike
