@nate5539 this song has been doing the rounds in Ireland for about 500 years! It's a traditional Irish song, first recorded in the 1950's and popularised by the Dubliners in the 1960's. Thin Lizzy (being Irish) covered it in the 70's in it's rock style format, and based on this version, Metallica covered it in the 90's (Thin Lizzy were a huge influence on Metallica, especially Cliff Burton) and won some grammys for it (I think). But I suppose you're right. It's not a country song lol
