@sethwalker11 they are not grunge, grunge is not a real genre. AIC, sound Garden are metal, Nirvana and Mud honey are punk, and Pearl Jam are straight up Hard Rock.
id have to say this was a big turning point for dinosaur jr. when it comes to their guitar work in this album, i mean j mascis is an awesome guitar player, and this is where he begins to show his brilliance in that aspect
