I hate to point it out but when the camera's above Boromir you see his hand on Aragorn's shoulder but when the camera is under Aragorn no hand. Almost every shot done from those angles. It's bad that I noticed it. Such a beautiful scene.
This is the one scene that always made me tear as kid, and even now. Boromir is a type of character that most people are in the beggining. But not inside. :D
@andyowens01 not just that... throughout the whole scene between Boromir (still alive) and Aragorn, Boromir's hand is near Aragorn's face/holding Aragon's left shoulder when the camera is looking at Boromir. But, when the camera is looking at Aragorn, Boromir's hand isn't there anymore... For example... 0:12 and 0:14
but... mistakes like these happen....... they aren't filling the entire scene in 10 minutes....
@HuwGaas Seriously... Do I have to explain this on this upload too? This is extended.
The part when Aragorn stands up and says: "They will look for his coming from the White Tower... but he will not return.", is not in the original version. Since I have the movies at home it´s pretty easy for me to check if it´s extended or not.
I love how in LotR these badass manly men aren't afraid to touch and caress each other, talk about their feelings and even cry. But after all, JRRT was a critic of the traditional "men don't cry" hero concept, and even claimed it was a tragedy to be born as a man in the world of the Scandinavian and Anglo-Saxon sagas.

1:33 The look of somber curiosity on Legolas face as Boromir receives the gift of man was well played by Orlando Bloom.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. People not too familiar with Tolkien's works probably would have interpreted it as somehow inappropriate.

Always so sad :(. Each time I see this scene I remember what he says in the book : " I tried to take the ring from Frodo, I am sorry. I have paid."

Don't wish to ruin the moment, but his eyelid moves a bit when Aragorn kisses his forehead. Sad scene though.
