  • it's a SU-35

  • In USA plane crash you

  • shows the real reason of thrust vectoring, he wasnt landing, he was going to quick, he was showing how the aircraft performs if it need to do a go around, also just to let the owner of the vid know its a SU-35. one of the 1st aircraft to receive thrust vectoring

  • WOW I WANT THAT GUY AS MY DAD

  • Oh wow...that was close.

  • Chuck Norris went to a seafood restaurant and ordered stonefish.

  • it's extremely hard to land on those carrier ships cause the runways are really short

  • @AnonymouSxEvaN *claps*

  • @AnonymouSxEvaN yes, but the thing hanging from the aicraft at the back is the tailhook, which connects to the arrestor cables, which stop the plane in an instant

  • holy shit

  • wooow :D

  • @GregorTheMountain1 youre wrong, no "special maneuver" was intended. this was simply a botched landing

  • In Soviet Carrier, Plane Almost Crashes You

  • @TexasTimmy777 In Soviet Russia.. Car drives you!! haha... love it

  • @GregorTheMountain1 im prior navy.... and i agree completely with you! after a few landings.. recording em becomes pointless... unless its a different approach.. which you would notice after a while!!

  • @PartyGirls171 i was just thinking the same thing... lol..

  • Sooner or later he's gonna run out of gas trying to land that, that's probably his 23rd attempt already. I don't think the Navy is for him, back to ROTC you go.

  • I think he was waved off for coming in too fast and high, so he hit the throttles and jerked his stick away from the island before he bounced. Chiefs probably made sailors repaint the doors to the flight deck.

  • Free Styler xD

  • EPIC

  • @GregorTheMountain1 how do you know it doesnt have thrust vectoring??? it was doing high alpha right there btw

  • damn that wa a bit close (:

  • It was taking a shit?

  • He was coming in too fast for a landing anyway, it would seem.

  • looks like he came in too high

  • Sorry for getting all wound up. I just HAD to get that off my chest. Again I'm really sorry.

  • @TD625G FU RUSSIANS PAWN

  • @PartyGirls171 It brought me here too!

  • WoW! surprised with all the power it didnt rip the landing strip appart!!! =O

  • It took two weeks to get the seat cushion back!

  • this guy got so lucky

  • Now imagine what would have happened if the hook catched the wire with that angle of attack....

  • @NoFL88 facepalm but with a boat... DEADLY

  • @GregorTheMountain1 You are a knucklehead!

  • I bet when he saved the landing he was like ..fuck im good

  • i dont think they almost crashed, those arent always easy 2 land, i think they just needed to go back up and try again.. GO MARINES ARMY NAVY and AIRFORCE! i have all of those in my family and im proud of all of them!!!

  • his a-hole must of puckered up so much, the jet's seat is missing part of its cushioning. lmao

  • @GregorTheMountain1

    trooooolllll

  • nice save

  • DRIVE BY

  • russians can do the cobra as nobody else....

  • @dodrain Um...the Swedish did cobras in their saabs before the Russki's. Actually, even the American F-22 can do a cobra...so idk what your talking about...

  • Hahha! You thought I was going to land!!

  • that was close

    wasn't his fault tho

  • Really fast reflexes by the pilot. Not the best pilot in the world, or he would have landed it the first time, but his reflexes probably saved his life.

  • I can do dat I just need a jet! lol

  • what a badass

  • holy shit

  • poppin a wheely

  • just looked at another video of an su 33 and the same carrier, he came in fine maby he was practicing approches , if you look after he goes arount theres another aircraft in the distance

  • yea he came in oo high.

  • Hook missed, had to come around for another try......... doesn't seem like an almost crash really...... isn't that what they are suppose to do if they miss?

  • @whaledragon3 Nooooooooooo

  • Comment removed

  • close call...

  • @frankensteinmoneymac To get views.

  • you no he shit his pant but he look so cool doing it

  • Only in soviet russia

  • quit showin off

  • thats sooo intense ahah

  • NAWWW dude

  • what was supposed to happen was he hooked the tail onto the catch rope and then fly off with the carrier.

  • In Soviet Russia, aircraft carrier lands on you! *thumbs up*

  • As a Royal Navy Pilot I might be able to provide a little help as to whats happening here. Pilots are video assesed heavily now, especially us lot serving on carriers. This manouvere is reffered to as a GO AROUND. Modern aircraft are fly by wire, and they feature a TO/GA button (take off/go around). This overrides certain electrical messages sent at super speed to the movement controls and engine controls. In this case (due to a number of possible reasons), the pitch and thrust response is high.

  • @PsychoCandy1000 youre a royal deuche. G/A button disconnects all autoflight.

  • @oistein74 a royal deuche? you cant even spell it you prick. all talk over youtube mr bigman (y)

  • @PsychoCandy1000 who is your wing commander, mr royal deuche? tell me!

  • QUICK! Do a barrel roll!

  • Quick! Do a barrel roll!

  • fail......win

  • psych.... :)

  • It's called a touch and go....in this case he forgot to touch but still pretty awesome

  • @Pandemonium1x This would be a crash if he touched the platform.

  • looks like a trainee overshot the cable and hit the throttle, then flared... could have stalled and dropped off the end of the runway if it was a lesser plane.

  • @felderup not at all, planes do that allll the time at air shows.

  • @pattycakes045 which is how high off the deck at an air show? fine, they do it at air shows, if they mess up, they have some air before they hit dirt. if they flare near the ground and stall, there's some ground effect to cushion. and i did say lesser, most planes aren't designed to do that, would you expect a cessna to not stall when flared like that?

  • @felderup Actually he was coming in to fast, there was no chance, plus he wasn't even straight, the plane was coming in at an angle, though was flying straight towards the ship, the plane was titled, therefore, making it unstable to land.

  • @theclashrock09 and planes land at an angle on american style aircraft carriers, but the speed thing, like i said. he probably overshot the cables, as someone mentioned, intentionally, going slower would make it more difficult to get back into the air, and the catch cables would be able to handle it.

  • holy shit that was close!

  • that is one hell of a pilot.

  • @clydeford32 more one hell of a plane... the pilot screwed up.

  • @oistein74 no doubt but you have to give the pilot some credit the way he maneuvered the plane out of there.that took some serious skill.

  • @clydeford32 not really. That plane has more thrust than weight. All he did was to abort landing, and way to late. Pulled up and gave it the beans. Just luck he didnt hit the deck.

  • @oistein74 no he didnt but i bet everybody else did.lol

  • @clydeford32 ...........

  • Someone took a dump in their flight suit!

  • WOW

  • Wow, for once I read nothing but positive, funny comments about the military!

Thumbs up if you are tired of the hate aimed at our armed forces.

  • @cjholly91 In all honesty, people aren't upset with the military, they're upset with the people controlling the military. Sometimes people just get so angry that they take it out on the most immediate thing instead of what's causing the issue in the first place. I know a small number of military personnel are behaving terribly (throwing puppies off cliffs, murdering innocent people for fun, torture, abuse, etc), but the vast majority of the military are hard-working and caring people.

  • @mhaneline At my old job I would hear Marines bragging about beating up old drunk people just because they thought it was funny. If it was none or two people I would have been like wow he's crazy, but it turned out most of them are like that witch is why I have no respect for the Marine Corps.

  • @HuntersX2NCreations To declare that a majority of any demographic is a certain way without substantiated evidence to support your declaration is, by definition, stereotyping.

  • @cjholly91 Well you can't hate the truth

  • @cjholly91 btw did you know that's not American, doesn't even look American and if you're one of those Americans who love Russians let me be one to tell you out of Germany. They don't like you as much as you love them.

  • @HuntersX2NCreations Did I say it was American? No, I didn't. You're taking my comment out of context.

The last part of my comment is a message I am trying to get across all of facebook. Get over yourself dude. Quit trying to sound like you are better than me, just because you recognize a fight jet.

Also, about Russia hating America... Um, yeah duh. Everyone hates each other. Almost everyone believes they're the dominant race/nation.Sadly, there will never be world peace.

  • @cjholly91 LETS SEE HOW PEOPLE FEEL ABOUT THEM IF THEY GO ON STRIKE...LOL

  • @cjholly91 thumbs up whore

  • @sam91832 Nope, just getting a point across. That way, everyone will see it.

  • @cjholly91 thumbs up if you are tired of the ignorant people that support the death industry. killing civilians for corporations oil profits is not a noble or patriotic thing to do. seriously. WAKE UP!

  • @cjholly91 its cus they are not showing guns. just really cool planes. i lika teh planes. i am sick of the military getting bashed though

  • @cjholly91 F*** yeah!!! I'm tired of them saying the military does nothing but destroy, what a bunch of bull shit!! Who do they think is keeping them safe while they sleep in thier freakin' race car bead HUH!?!? It takes alot to get me mad, but when people discriminate this country by critisizing the only thing that protects them, just makes think that they should live in China and suffer.

  • @cjholly91 stop hating the armed forces officers there following orders, luckely there following some educated orders unlike the ones from bush

  • @themadscientest Um, what? When was I hating on anyone, other than the people hating on our armed forces? I'm pretty sure you and I are on the same team.

  • @cjholly91 are u seriously defending the armed forces??? THEY HAVE GUNS!!! they don't need defending

  • @wizza998 wow... really? You are such a dumb ass.

I'm defending them from the ignorant ass holes who call them "baby killers", and "dumb fucks who can't make it anywhere in life".

  • @cjholly91

U need to calm the fuck down and learn to take a joke

  • @cjholly91 im not for or against but lol look at the guy above me i loled

  • Lean back, now lean back, lean back...and do the rockaway

  • That was training of landing on carrier. Simulating fault try.

  • this is why i wanna join the military ;D awesome stuff

  • If people are wondering he just came in a little to high to catch the wires to stop him.

  • I wish you could get another chance to land the plane in Top Gun...

  • ..almost

  • damn! never got to see anything fun like that on Big E : /

  • looks like "OH SHIT!! -wrong carrier!" but great job from the pilot-respect

  • Nice!

  • KRAZY IVAN on deck!!!

  • Crazy fucking Russians; gotta love 'em.

  • *PILOT* Oh my god! It's japan ship, gotta leave now.. see ya youse laters

  • WOW

  • he whas doing a cobra manuver above the carrier deck nice done pilot :)

  • epic i forgot my lunch

  • 0:10 that's one insane angle

  • @RadicalAwesomeness it called thrust vectoring it where the nozzle around the engine exaust move up or down left or right to change the angle the plain is flying at

  • @lionsforlyons

    hahahah i just got that

  • Holy, Effin awesome to the max!

  • Dumbass plane.

  • LOL. where is the crash? and this happens every day for almost every single pilot...

  • @Alekwatelli annnnn u read the topic? it says ALMOST crash.....

  • @PzAufklaerer12Btl he changed the title..

  • W8 I forgot me vodka brb lol

  • "the fail" fail

  • forgot me kidz at the playgrounz

  • Just a demo of aborted landing

  • maybe he realised it was american and not russian

  • hes all "Comin in fo' landin'.... annddddd FUCK YA'LL BITCHES"

  • DUMPERT!!!

  • imma land...SIKE!

  • Pilot win

  • holy shit.. bet that pilot needed to change his jockies.

    what happened, wind shift??

  • Call to power!!!

  • daaaaaaaaam

  • i bet he was grounded for a few months lol

  • @95z28camaro6 why? i think he did a hell of good job. that fight plan is so amazingly a good piece of something. gosh, it is just amazing.

  • @95z28camaro6 More like shot to death for nearly damaging a Navy vessel and destroying a fighter jet. Russian Naval Aviation, last I recall Russians don't ground, they punish.

  • @95z28camaro6 hey bro your wifes on the phone?! .."wow fuck that" lmfao

  • you know he sucked in his butt so hard he probably kissed it

  • You're clear for landing and uhhh, I don't know how you're gonna feel after hearing this Jack but... (as he was about to land) "Your last night's lottery ticket hit the 102 million jackpot".

  • That plane has seriously good low speed handling characteristics!

  • ...we are talking about serious thrust to weight ratio .Russian jets F.T.W.

  • fail

  • heheheheheh, The comment before me by hugetits92007 was funny. A quick get away........

  • OMG OMG IM GONA LAND LAND lol jk

  • dude it tried to land

  • "Haha! Jk guys! Jk..."

  • no.. i think ima try to light the boat on fine instead of land....

  • I just shit myself

  • atleast he didnt burst into flames

  • he was just gansta leaning

  • GOT LUCKY

  • thats a beautiful jet :)

  • This video has exceeded its thumbs up limit therefore no further ratings will be processed :D

  • damn that thing is putting down some power.

  • September 5, 2010 died legendary pilot - Hero of Russia Sergey Melnikov. He was a pilot who had taught take off and land on the deck of aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov "Su-33. The first in Russia carried out 100 and 200 landings on the deck of an aircraft carrier. The experience gained from the tests, further allowed him to develop a methodology and to train front-line pilots the ship's 279 Fighter Regiment technique of landing on an aircraft carrier deck. He was only 51 years.

  • @Bugel852 Why he died?

  • That was a stellar wave-off. Good reflexes.

  • GODDAMNIT TOP GUN

  • Dumbass Russians.

  • What happens when your military can only afford to give you a couple flying hours a year.

  • das nenn ich abfangen ... ;) :D

  • @Zeusus007 Da bin ich deiner Meinung =)

  • whoo, glad to be back on the grou- GODDAMN JEHOVAS WITNESSES!

  • its like yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa no

  • OH SHIT^, MY WIFE IS THERE!!*

  • That pilot knew exactly what he was doing. No way you could say that was out of control. 1 Sierra Hotel jet jockey.

  • Reminds me of the mythbusters plywood glider thing... "I fart on you!".

  • lucky bastard

  • That was real genuis

  • He Was Lagging

  • Wheelie!

  • Is that on Admiral Kuznetsov?

  • @vobotix certainly is.
