  • any notice the 'two divided by zero' reference at 4:23?

  • Remember the first remix I heard of this back in 1983,1984 way before West End Girls!! Not quite what your listening to now, but it was enough to get me hooked onto the PSB. Spent many hours listening to these guys!!! Thanks for posting!!!!!!!

  • PSB...so many amazing songs.

  • real Bobby Orlando!

  • This song was well ahead of it's time. It sounded fresh in 1986, and still sounds cool today.

  • @djcoreystuart idk but i think that even more than 60- 70% songs from 70S and 80s sound 30x cooler than todays stuff and more modern than the current ones

  • @Praventore sooo true. what I thought was brilliant about PSB was they thought outside the box when it came to arranging their material.

  • That doll is demonic!! LOL

  • Neil is so sexy then and now!

  • @PetShopBoysrgr8 Very true!! ^_^ <3

  • the song............wahoooooooo...

  • capolavori su capolavori

  • It's so true if only the'd give you "one more chance"

  • nice , i like psboys

  • This album is so good...except for the 3 shit filler tracks...

  • @burns46824 I am sorry but Actually hasn't got any shit filler and I am not talking like a die-hard fan (I am) but read any professional review and all agree about how great the whole Actually album is.

  • @cinqo7 "Shopping," "Hit Music," and "It's a Sin" are all pretty terrible in my opinion. I have no idea why the latter was a hit. Still, some fantastic tracks on this record.

  • Neil still have hair in this time. :)

  • I ***kin' Love PET SHOP BOYS

  • superb thats all i can coment on pet shop boys

  • I was 12 when this movie came out & it was virtually impossible to get it anywhere where i was living. I ended up writing to the distributor & they sold me a copy (never underestimate the tenacity of a star-struck pre-teen...lol). I still have it. Sometime I must back it up on to DVD to protect it & to make it easier to watch.

  • this is a clip from a full length feature film made by Neil and Chris called "It couldn't happen here" I actually watched it at the cinema when it was released in 1987!!

  • @altv1969 cool !. i bet it was great seeing it at the cinema. i wish i could have, but i was only three years old when it was released lol !.

  • @Bethfromwigan Thoroughly enjoyed it Beth even though the cinema was virtually empty! Used to have it on VHS Video too until my recorder decided to chew the tape. Have searched but not found it available anywhere else, shame no one has released it on DVD!Best Wishes, Al

  • Whats the deal with "Hit Music"?

A lot of the PSB fans I know, say that real fans think its a terrible song.

    Can someone please explain why?

  • i wish we could travel back into the 80s where the music was actually good...

  • At the end of the clip, the friend of Neil Tennant, while playing piano, looks exactly like Murdock, from the A-Team.

  • The starting tune of this song is the same for the music on some PC games of the 1980s and 1990s.

  • I wish this particular clip was available in HQ, thanks for posting anyways :-)

  • I happen to like "Hit Music". Always have.

  • @dementedfurbie What about "Can you Forgive Her" ?

  • All we have now is saturday x factor voting off the useless rubbish.I was 21 yrs old when this was out and what a great time it was listening to this band, proper music.

  • .,well thank you-just fabulous!

  • This music meant everything when you were 14. Hanging around the streets bored with nothing much to do.

Its still great now, 25 years on.

  • @karaloca

i know what you mean. In the 80's we had great music and disco's and club's, and a few concerts, and that was it, because there was nothing else to do, but did we need more? NO! We loved what we had, because there was nothing else to do, we did hang out with eachother, and not sit behind a computerscreen or gameconsole and hide from the rest of the world. Also tv was great, because the best shows were made in the 80's like the young ones, keeping up app. london calling, etc etc.

  • Should have been a Hit.

  • @JonMcElectro totally agree this should of been a hit like so many .london, i get excited, kings cross, radiophonic the list goes on . new track next month hope its good cheers

  • @steveallen808909 Didn't know they had a new Song coming out. Thanks for telling me. Cheers.

  • These men are musically gifted. Pure talent. So glad they've shared their talent with the world.

  • ACTUALLY the best album of PSB, some sounds played only one time, incredible work of patience.

  • chained framed you know what i mean if i dont get this film ill scream

  • pet shop boys "Actually" album actually gives me enough reasons to reminisce about my childhood days, i grew up with these songs, and songs were so good those days, love love love PSB and A-ha...

  • I first bought this on 12 inch vynal from 1984, and have loved it ever since, I now got loads of different versions but this is my favourite! One of my favourite tracks ever, on par with Tunnels by Arcade Fire and God Only Knows by the Beach Boys IMO !!!!

  • Neil looks at his best in this video. This is how I remember him looking from the tape cases when we used to go on holiday, listening to Pet Shop Boys in the car.

  • Maricones tu madre y tu pinche padre. Ignorant douchebag.

  • @djknucklez1 NO. OYE, ADEMAS DE MARICON ERES SUDAKO?

  • @giugnhgbvinierngvb89

    pobre mierda bastarda...

  • I REALLY LOOOOOOOOVE THIS SONG!!!!

    SINCE I WAS A CHILD! =P

Even though I will never understand this movie... I love it a lot! It's funny to see Neil and Chris in this crazy situation! XD

  • this is obviously from it couldn't happen here (the film)

  • last time i listened to this must have been about 20 years ago...fantastic

  • I didnt know they had a video of this song...

you know the day I left Russsia I learned they were coming for a concert???

i mean after 2 years of silent worshipping - at least, i comforted myself, i'll have a chance to see them live when I got out of here

    and then I did

    get out

but they GOT IN!!! not fair!

    not fair!

  • number one PSB

  • I LOVE THIS SONG SOOOO MUCH! <3

  • oh, thnx a million for ths song, i took me to past , i lv it

  • remember this from the magic of David Copperfield

  • = =

  • The city is quiet, too cold to concolone

Strangers in over Sea Harrier at home

Tonight I've been walking in the rain

Someone's been talking and I've got the blame

  • Great Great vid's and a TERRIFIC

    voice...Neil rules

  • When I was growing up in Czechoslovakia, we used to listen to PSB and loved it, I never ever thought that I will ever see them in concert....couple of years ago I saw them here, in Madrid. Just fantastic they were and still are and always will be. Viva PTB

  • Lange nicht mehr gehört - und doch gleich wieder geliebt!!!!!

  • I love this song I love the pet shop boys

  • fa schifo questa canzone

  • This was real music. I don't know what the hell pop musicians are doing today.

  • They do it all for the money today...

  • @MimosaHonora

    They are sucking cocks. lol

  • @ChateauFighter thats a disgusting comment

  • @MimosaHonora there wering clothes made out of meat and pretending to write there own music

  • @MimosaHonora

these days: copy, copy, copy + FAIL CRAP

  • Fantastic I love the Pet Shop Boys

  • pet shop boys are the best

  • Yeah it was the Liverpool Summer Pops concert.I was in the Standing Area near the stage, and i got right to the front of it !.I had been standing from about 5.00pm,when i queued up,till the concert ended !.I'd like to go and see them again at the MEN Arena in December aswell.I was numb and tired from standing all that time, but it was definetly worth it !!.The security gave all of us in the standing area a drink of water towards the end of the show too which was kind of them !.

  • Me and my mate were at that concert! We'd queued since 10 o'clock in the morning and were astounded by how few PSB fans were queuing when the doors opened! We'd seen them at Manchester a few weeks previously and we just had to go again!

  • This is my favourite song in that cd...

it was not even a cd... it was a LP.

  • what is the name of that album?

  • ACTUALLY

  • I'm going to see them on Monday.I can't wait !!

  • I'm from wigan. Did you enjoy the concert. I thought it was great! I take it you went to the liverpool pops concert.

  • Reminded my school days when i first listened this song

  • Neil you are great>>>>>

  • neil tenant is the gretest

  • a good song

  • one of the best PSB songs ever...

  • It´s kinda: I get exciter , you get exciter too !

  • i had the original 12' this was the b-side,i still love it

  • what is the first song on that side...

    was it a billboard cassette?

  • Which film is it? :o

  • couldn't happen here

    it's old film now

my mum was a teenager and she likes pet shop boys.

  • realy kicks in at 3.01

love this tune deffo the band of the 80s

  • SUPER ..... it seems they did a series of videos for the unreleased singles from the album Actually?

  • yes.

  • FANTASTIC

  • Brilliant song.

  • I love this song !.I love the film , " It couldnt happen here " that this is from too : )

  • this is the one pet shop boys song i cant get into!

  • it is rather strange isnt it?

  • the bobby orlando version is better, imo

  • Its rawer, but I wouldn't say it was better.

  • ACTUALLY was probably one of the most complete albums .. EVER. Its not often you hear an album where every song is good yet every song is so varied and unique.

  • i AGREE totally actually was a brilliant album without the "pop commercial hits" that record companies normally demand

  • 100% agree. It was less sober than Please was.

  • @balsingh1

    ..actually,'Hit music',was a bit c**p.;-(

  • @Warren111able i'll give you that one. Hit Music was the worst one on the album ... but its still better than most of the sh*t in the charts these days

  • @balsingh1 I know what you mean..

  • @Warren111able Actually, I liked Hit Music, simply because of the ending of the song--it was completely different from the song, and so beautiful.

  • @balsingh1 ACTUALLY is a great record, but I think Behaviour was as complete or even more. Ever since I got it for Xmas back in '91, I still listen to it, and it still sounds fresh (like the rest of their work does...except for Fundamental).

  • @balsingh1 that's my favourite pet shop boys album : )

  • @balsingh1

Very was the same, a complete album.

  • I remember this film IT COULD'T HAPPEN HERE, still have it on vid, but this part is not in it, I can tell its the film out take because of the way there dreesed! Acually was a great pop album I love the song KINGS CROSS & I WANT TO WAKE UP, but all round best album for me has to be BEHAVIOUR.

  • It's at the end of the movie, and quite bizarre as it is straight after some sort of war scene, with buildings blowing up!

  • It is in the film, it's just right at the very end of it and is the final scene.

  • great tune from one of the greatest albums of all time actually

  • Im telling ya 2:44 - 3:00 was the most beautiful part for me, i used to listen to that part over and over again. I still love it. My girlfriend loves this part too :)

  • You're not the only one that caught the perfectness of that section of this song.

  • lol im glad to hear you like it too! Ive always wanted to know if there are other people out there who liked that part . People i know ..well they dont understand the beauty of that part. What do you think of 'kings Cross' - that is my fave song out of all of the PSB songs :)

  • I like King's Cross too. I listen to that song sparingly, so I can appreciate it more, kind of like West End Girls or Suburbia.

  • Yeah that part was awesone

  • yes, that's the most poignant bit. To me that bit has been the reason why liked this song so much.

  • excelente....

  • i crossed your path at eaton's t.o. your walking through a door i was walking into eaton's you waved your hands around to say as if they are going to tear down the theatre what for? not a word i went through the open theatre door nice suit see you later gator friend?!

  • Neil you are so beautiful and elegant, no-one like you

  • just give me one more, one more chance...

  • Push me in a corner and I'll scream...

  • Chained, framed, you know what I mean

  • someone's been talking,and i've got the blame.

  • Tonight I've been walking in the rain.

  • Song still gives me goosebumps even after all these years...

  • Chris is the Brando of his generation.

  • actually, it's " got far to go have you ? "

  • I'm pretty sure it's GOT far to go, have you. The line is in the movie a few times (as are a few others, it's an extremely self-referencing movie that get alienating if you've only seen parts) where it can be understood more clearly.

Yank here, I know the deal.

  • What is the dummy saying at the end of the scene? I simply can't catch this

  • "Not far to go, have you?"

  • thx :)

  • excellent!!!

  • pet shop boys forever

  • Muerete que yes, como yo lo digo, jejejejejejeje. Salu2.

  • Faithfully express the sin but not the sinner. So enjoy the best content. A warm greeting from Venezuela.

  • where did you find this? fab

  • that clip is from the movie of the PSB called "It couldn't happen here"

  • yeah it's a great Film from '88

  • Agreed; great clip from towards the end of the film! I liked the scene in the cafe talking about time! Great film! And, the B & B scene with, who I think was Barbara Windsor!
