Harley-Davidson Shovelhead in Tokyo at cloudy&rainy day

Sounds a whole lot more like a clickety-clack panhead than I've ever heard most any shove sound. Yeah, can you say "adjust your lifters?!?" Or, roller rockers? Something - ANYTHING?? Man, I couldn't listen to that, & have built & been riding my own '79 80" suicide hardtail shovelhead, still a STOCK 80", for 32 YEARS now. Plus, I'M A GIRL!!! LMAO!

Its because of the position of the recorder, like you will see and hear in any other video on youtube, when you stand behind the bike at its right side, it will have the harley sound, cause thats where the exhaust is.

But in the fron on the left side, theres more engine/tech sound, not the actual harley sound, like this here.

I had my 1983 Shovel in Japan when I was on the USS Midway. I have solid lifters in it still,its loud and noisy but great!

Do you know how stupid that sounds. I work for a harley dealership in wichita kansas for one. And i have worked on shovel,pans,evo`s, and twin cams for ten years. Yea, individuals like yourself judging someone by a sign in name. I made the comment about the kicker because you can get the kit to have both kick and electric start. I have an 1982 shovel i've owned for 23 years, I wouldn't trade or sell it 4 anything. You have to learn to fix them yourself. They are not for posers.

wild, it sounds just like when riding, no exhaust note just machine noise. I always wondered when that noise was good and when it was bad on my 48 pan. got rid of it cause it was always breaking down.
