All this episode felt like an endless intro to nothing. Since not even ONE single hint was given about what to come. Usually there is, to make the audience stay, but here...really nothing. Pfff, worst episode ever...damn it was boring.

Smallville is coming to an end and I believe that Veritas is just the beginning of something big and more terrifying. Brainiac is using Kara to unleash something that will destroy the world. From the look of Lionel's face, I think that they are dealing with DOOMSDAY. In the comics, it is a killing machine that has existed long before there has been any Kryptonian and cannot be stopped until everything in it's path is dead. God I hope it not or there'll be hell to pay in Smallville.

In my opinion, i think the writers are turning away from Superman and turning Smallville into a soap opera. And for all the Clana haters out there, this ISNT the episode to watch. EthLover i completely agree. I have been watching smallville from day 1 and every season has been awesome except season 7. Every single episode has let me down and become repetitive. I am sad to say that the acting of clark, kara, and lionel is horrible. They fail to show even the slightest bit of emotion. Clark couldn't even shed ONE freaking tear when looking into Lana's face seriously what the hell. Cloe, Lex, and Lana are still acting well, but it's not enough when the other half sucks.

I've heard that flying is the last power Clark will learn but when the show ends. I think brainiac might be the reason he flies, and wasn't it said that until Clark embraces his true kryptonian identity and destiny that he will be able to fly? He still so very human, like trusting Lionel and not running when he sees immediate danger (i.e. kryptonite taser darts missing him by inches)He's supposed to be so smart because he never forgets anything, but he never puts his knowledge to practical use

Actually the ability to fly can't be his last power, he still has to obtain the ability to use ice breath, he only has super breath at this moment which he hardly uses, so lets hope for sum ice breath in season 8

i think maybe telescopic but i think it just comes naturally, it wont be suddenly appearing like heat vision or x ray vision, because in bound from season 4, clark was able to look all the way down an elevator shaft and find a small earring, and in another episode i forget which one, it shows what clark saw through the telescope compared to what lois saw. lois only saw stars, when clark saw comets and such.
