How about using the same technology but placing it on your windshield as a display or projection. You wouldn't need the camera. It would just show the path and some other information. It could also highlight certain things like rest stops and restaurants as you go. It would have to be very dim so that it doesn't block your view though. Thumbs up if you like this idea!

Vorausschauend fahren geht damit aber nicht ^^ bei einer 2D Map sieht man wesentlich weitere Strecken. Aber für den Nahbereich bis zu 500m ist das ding sicher gut :)
