But when I hear people boo-hoo about how EEEEVILLL they were treated when they tried out for AI, I want to tell them my story to help them put things into perspective. When I weighed over 400 lbs., I tried out for THE BIGGEST LOSER three times...once in person, twice by mail, and got rejected all three times! Not being able to sing is one thing. How do you deal with not being "FAT ENOUGH" for TBL??? Say WHAAA...????

wow...that's crazy! yeah, i pretty much only tried out to say i tried out. i didn't have high expectations. but your story for TBL is just wild. no one really knows what these producers are looking for.

omg!! i am soo with you, I auditioned last year in San Diego too! american idol isn't what it looks like on tv. The entertainment industry is HARSH! I waited from 4 am to 5 pm just to audition and get a "no" lol.

you know, i did some research a couple months after the san diego auditions and from what it sounds like, the sd auditions were some of the most disorganized of all the try-outs...hence why they were so brutal.

you're actually not allowed to film anything at the tryouts. and if you make it through initial audiduitions, you're not allowed to tell family and friends how far you actually got through so that there is a surprise when they actually air the show. that's right! they make every single person that comes in sign a contract. the contract itself is pretty ridiculous.

that alone should have detracted my motivation to tryout. :) meh...so it goes.
