For every Glenn Beck hater, maybe you should watch his Fox show before you make fun of him. If you haven't noticed, everything he says comes from fact. He himself, his research department, and his fans all contribute in the fact findings. Anyone who believes different and still doesn't agree with Glenn, must really want to live in a Socialist Society, as that's what the Obama Administration is aiming at doing, and has already started with his Healthcare Reform.

Yes, as mentioned, this country was set up as a Republic based on Constituional Rule of Law, but Tea Partiers and Republicans want to turn it into a Theocracy based on the Rule of the Bible. There is a difference between the Puritans of the 17th century & the real founding fathers of the 18th century, who were mostly deists, not Theonomic Reconstructionists. We got our Democratic ideals from men like Solon of Athens, not the 10 Commandments. There is no American-style Democracy in the Bible.

I'm not standing up for bible thumpers as I am Agnostic, but GOD and the Christian faith plays a lot in the founding of this country. If you watch Glenn's Fox show, he has explained this fact in many shows prior to his 8-28 rally. Glenn does base his show on his opinions, but he gets his opinions from fact.

@Tuddley3 I trust John Adams more than Beck to tell me what inspired the Constitution. In Volume I of, "History of the Principal Republics in the World: A Defense of the Constitution of Government of the United States of American (1794), Adams credits Greece, Rome & secular Italian republics of the Renaissance & said those govts. were contrived by use of reason & the senses. Moses/Jesus/Bible are not mentioned.

I we followed Beck's advice/opinion, we could reverse the situation we are in right now, and put in back the way it should be. I wouldn't listen to what Greece would have to say about their current situation. America didn't invent the idea of a Democratic Republic 200 years ago. They resurrected the long-dead ideals of Western Greco-Roman civil society that had disappeared under emperors & monarchs who claimed the divine right of kings because it's in the BIBLE.

The reason the US is in such bad shape, is we have 2 wars going on, and a possible 3rd with North Korea is currently cooking on the stove. Also having Obama in office isn't helping either, he has spent 3 times as much money in 9 months that Bush did in 8 years. So we need the Tea Party to hit the "reset button". I've lost faith in the Republican Party, and I have voted Republican all my life.

@MySocksSmell2 I am agnostic, and I'm not worried. Their main focus is to bring the GOP back to 1854 standards, back when The United States belonged to the People, not the Govt. The smaller the Govt, the more control the People have of their own lives unlike today with the Obama Administration. First came Obamacare, next in line is control of the Press(CNN and MSNBC are already under White House control), next is Internet Regulation. Tea Party will reverse this and give us our country back.

@Tuddley3 Look up (Diogenes Laertius, Lives of Eminent Philosophes, 1.60) and compare the 10 commandments of Solon the Athenian with the 10 commandments of Moses and see which looks more related to the founding of our country. Men decided not to fight and die for the10 Commandments but for the resurrection of Athenian civil society. The Bible is a book of monarchy & theocracy, not democracy. Christianity leads to an authoritarianism just as repressive as that of any communist dictatoriship.

Once we stop using the Constitution (Which is happening right now under Obama's Rule), we would be just like the countries the foreigners are seeking Amnesty from, so no one would have a purpose to move here anymore.
