@SuperScotty97 Hey i can help you with that im using window vista. What you do is open hypercam 2 which you have go sound which its on the top of the hypercam. Then tick the box that says record sound from : and you have to chose whether default sound recording device or micrphone realtek high defini .

Tell you what chose deafaultrecording device and it will go right hope it helps =)

Its easy man! open hypercam go to sound and tick the box that says record sound from: chose the default sounding recording device and then click record and then watch then the sound will be there if you dont want a sound then untick it and it will no sound. =)

Guys all you need to do is open the volume icon double click , then options , properties , then there is adjust volume for put that to Recording , then there is a new list .

Un-check everyone except Stereo and Mono mix .

Then when you press ok there is a new table , under stereo and mono mix is select .

Under stereo press there , and there you have it !

Every damn video I see on this subject just gives me a tour of the Sound options like some computer illiterate 8 year old?

I just want a damn ANSWER.

I've tried all this stuff already. And yes, it is set to record sound. Besides Default recording device, my only two options are Stereo Mix and my Webcam mic. Webcam mic obviously records that, but I need the stuff coming out of the speakers. Stereo Mix doesn't do shit, and I've played with it before.

make sure on hypercam that the sound is on 16 bit and 44100 samples per second for best quality

oh and not only put 16 bit and 44100 sample per sec, also keep your volume low because hypercam records the audio really loud so i f you keep your volume low it will be better quality for some reason

instead of lime wire download frost wire it's downloads are a lot faster and you connection is turbo charged and you can make an account and talk to people while downloading its a lot better then lime wire, you don't have to get frost wire but i recommend you do get it.
