what a stupid advert. no one in the uk can use eurostar to get to the olympics, so what they must be saying is "just think how awful the olypics will be, so hey our trains go the other way too.. i.e the olypics is rubbish, escape to france and beyond!"
Yeah Jarvis I can't believe you'd do that god I HATE it when people do work for a job in order to earn a living GRR SELLOUT I'D NEVER DO SUCH A THING.
i thought this advert was pretty cool...clearly i'm the only one.
the stadium looks nothing like the actual stadium! and cauldron seems cool, and the flags on top of the athletes looks cool.....and boats is a very good idea.
Adverts these days are pretty pathetic anyway, filled plunky plonky strumming ukekelel music or drippy Nyman-eque piano. But this ad Is just the absolute pits........Still waiting for "the totally bad boy beat" to kick in Jarvis...... Maybe it's running late like the Eurostar.
the ad is ful of illuminate symbolism.starting with the four pillars 11 11 also showing collapsing earth mayan type structures.im sure there is probably more in there.juat stikes me as wierd.also there is many nation flags fireing wheapons and war ships compleat with cannons at the ready.im not mental or anything.wear not worthy

Latest Eurostar ad: absurd! London 2012 it's the Olympic Games, not Gladiator!
Rich special effects, ok, nice... but what is it you are selling? The Games, a cup of coffee, a train???
Out of 40-second ad, the actual Eurostar train appears 5 seconds only! Finally, the slogan "Opening The Way"... Opening the way to whom? The Games will take place in the UK, right? So the ad should target foreign tourists, because the Brits won't need the Eurostar whether they live in York, Manchester or Brighton!
Oh Jarvis, you didn't need to whore yourself out to Eurostar: if you'd let us know you were so desperate, we would have had a whip-round and you could have stayed on my sofa 'til you got back on your feet. Or you could have put the band back together to earn some cash and keep your integrity... Oh yeah: you did. I guess you must just be a sell out then. 'Different Class'? Guess its more business class these days...
Hmm, strange format of this advert, I'm not sure what the actual message was here. It seemed to be more concerned with using posh graphics...plus, the music at the second half was not what I expected when it was described as a 'bad boy beat'...it was a bit 'middle of the road'...Just an opinion!

You guys are idiots, Jarvis isn't "Selling Out". He is a Cultural Embassador for Eurostar, he is just doing his job.
