Epitaph was formed 1969 .The first studio sessions were in Alster Studios Hamburg 1970 continued in Wessex Studios London and Windrose Studios in Hamburg in1971,The first Twin guitar Licks you can find on the instrmental Are you Ready from 1970 .The band were influenced by Allman brothers -Miles Davis (in a silent way ) Buddy Rich (live ) and King Crimson .not Wishbone Ash check it out
its interesting , because the firts album came out 1972 , whisbone ash 1970 one way or another who influence whom????? i thought they havent comparation but either thems are greats , i just enjoy it
Hmmm., does this have the sound very similar to Wishbone Ash? This is meant to be a compliment. This is the first time I remember ever listening to these guys. Do they have anything available on CD.
I have this album and just decided to do a search on youtube for Epitaph and found a bunch of headbangin stuff, so I decided to enter this song title and YAHOOOO, here it is. Absolutely excellent. Need more from this show.
This band had everything WISHBONE ASH had exept exposure! Too bad but I think they are still rockin! If thats so its fantastic! Come to USA just 1 more time,Please?
We can thank Wishbone Ash for the invention for the double lead but these guys are just as good. This is the first time I've heard them and they are good.

I love the chord progression. It's one of my favourite ones, and I do it pretty much everytime I just jam by myself.

Amazing to find old Epitaph here. This song has some of the greatest heavy yet melodic guitar work ever.
