Also we never had any groupies as in sexual terms we were all clean living guys..... Yes we had some very attractive women come and follow us and a few lady boys.. We were all happily married with kids............

We were doing a gig in 1986 at the Porthouse in Bristol and had about 200 people watching, we were getting into a heavy set all moody and mean when a woman in a mac walks onto the dance floor in front of us takes her mac off revealing a full body speedo swimming costume and lies on the floor and starts to simulate different swimming strokes...... of course we were shocked and just cracked up i was in the middle of a sax solo when i chocked on my mouth piece!!!!
i remember ringing up to get the video produced in bloody manchester and we had to take the gear with us and we left weston at about 5am in a mini bus we hired a bit more credible than going in our own tour bus which was the manor dairies milk van, we got their about 9am only to find 6 other bands in front of us doing their videos so in the usual rock star style we threw our dollies out the pram thinking we were only going to be the only band, so after a lot of arguing with the producer.....
kev,I don't know him.The only one from the band that I know is Paul,he's a good lad.Not seen him, or any of the old gang from WSM, for years,as I now live in Devon.

Blimey! a real blast from the past! We used to play at the Three Queens in Weston around the same time as them (Im Jon Andrews, one of the guitarists from STONE LOVERS).

We are all still playing in different bands except Anthony Rich the guitarists Bro who played drums so a reunion gig is out the question unless we can dope him up and kidnapp him....
Im up for it but then again im up for anything these days. Gary is playing in Weston with Rich in a band doing covers a bit of the credible stuff like Bowie and the Cult, Kerry keyboard player still doing a bit and drinking Kestral 35p a can. Paul (squiggly wiggly) still wrecking vans and playing.
