  • @39region

    Thank you very much Victoria!

You make me smile and make me happy, if you can, try the Mexican Flan.... in the description one of the ingredients I am sure you can not buy, so you can use sour cream mixed with a little milk.

I know Russia has sour cream, some of the best sour cream on the planet comes from Russia :)

  • @freitasex

Thank you so much, Michael! Yes, Russian sour cream is nice :-) I have already tried your Mexican flan (I posted there my thanks :-) . Your flan is something amazing!! I used as you adviced - half of cream and half of sour cream.

The last time I saw one of your videos was the portobello mushroom burger I think lol.

Glad you got partnered and that you are still doing an amazing job in the kitchen, keep it up! :)

  • @ThePyreforge

Thanks and glad to see you around again!

  • OMG!! I have watched this so many times, it looks soo good!! im gonna make it for my family on tuesday!! im only 13 so i hope it comes ot good!!and do I have to do that thing with the tomates or can i just buy a can of tomato sauce????and what are the proportions for 5 people???

  • @isasosamartin

For 5 people I would make this whole recipe.

Yes, you can use tomato sauce, just do not reduce the sauce like I did the tomatoes. I would add the basil butter but probably NO salt to the tomato sauce unless you buy sauce that has no salt in it.

    Thank you for your questions!

    Do you cook often?

  • @freitasex Thank you for telling me that!!!! and not really but that looks really good and it looks easy so i want to try it!!!

  • SCRUMPTIOUS!!!!

I will definatley make this one.

    GREAT video Michael

    p.s. nice appearance by Benson

  • @QueenKattz

Yes Benson still likes being in the same room with me all the time.

I am pretty sure that he hates it while I am gone at work, poor little guy.

  • Hey Michael, I see you're using San Marzano tomatoes. Aren't they just amazing?

  • @lysippus

You work very hard being on the MoveEverythingTwice team.

I hope you are not in 28.

In 6 days I will have worked for 12 years, I started @ 6634 and transferred.

Most of this time I have been IMA/IMS and then when it went to Bay Maintenance, I went to 23 to keep full time status.

I am thinking about going to Bay Maintenance and part time when that opportunity opens back up and it may open very soon.

I hope you like your difficult job!

  • Your kitty looks so cute!

  • @kimloveben

Thank you, he says thanks as well :)

  • Looks delicious with the cheese melted on it. But wasn't there a lot of filling? Or did you use it all? I might do this next week.

  • hey, i just noticed you work for home depot, so do i!

this is such a good idea. i always overlook stuffed shells, but this recipe seems so simple and delicious. i love the idea of pine nuts and sausage.

thanks for sharing all your recipes.

  • @lysippus

    You do!

I work at 2003 in 23/59 what one do you work at?

  • that spinach is the strangest thing... was that something you cooked and froze or do they actually sell that frozen?

  • @AlcoholLevel

I purchased the spinach frozen at the store.

I find it is a good value for 99 cents, because cooking down fresh spinach would take many bags to get the same amount.

  • Looks great!

I've never tried a meatless version before. I always either cook ground beef into the sauce, sprinkle pepperoni over the top before baking, or cook up seafood and mix that through the ricotta. I'll definitely give this a try! Thanks for another great recipe!

  • @aquia80

I feel going meatless from time to time is good for me/you/whoever.

We all really do eat too much meat, but I cannot imagine giving it up.

  • @TigerlilyCO2011

You can stop by anytime, just call first :)

  • that looks ridiculously amazing!!!!

  • @d4poptart

    Thanks :)

  • That looks wonderful Michael! And the home made sauce makes it even better. I really like the idea of the pine nuts. That's new for me in such a dish. Thanks!

  • @thizizliz

Get some pine nuts at Vons and try them :)

  • @freitasex I will, thanks!

  • How funny...i just noticed your drip pan on the stove is black like mine! I guess everyone does have there favorite side they like to cook on! Nice recipe.. i love shells!! I have to try this one day!

  • @SuperBianca86

Yes and I really do not like to do dishes and cleaning etc.

  • u didn't taste it :(

  • @camku

Sorry about that, it does taste great and I highly recommend this dish!

  • wow this looks so good man

  • @youcreatea

    Thank you :)

  • Looks good, try using a 1 gal ziploc bag with a hole cut in the corner to just pipe the filling into the shells. Just place the cheese mixture into the bag and cut a hole big enough to squeeze the mixture into the shells.

  • @tdjtx

Thank you for your tip, much appreciated!

  • Man... you videos are so awesome. They make me hungry every time :)

  • @Biospider

    Thank you VERY much!

  • No fear of cheese as usual. Good. Nice touch with the parsley--you're working on your presentation! Looks great, could knock back a serious plate or three of those in no time with a bottle of something red.

  • @ndktube

A couple large glasses of merlot is terrific with this as I know from experience :)

    Thanks!

  • You should really open a restaurant, all of your food looks heavenly <3

  • @ItoshikiTanuki

    Thank you for your compliment!

  • That looks amazingly good!! Freita was clearly a fool....lol

  • @lilredmum

    Yes, lol :)

  • my suggestion is u cook the pasta halfway as when ur cooking it in the oven u cook it again so no need to fully cock em when u boil em

  • @Xiia0Sn00pY

Yes I agree, that is why I only cooked them 6 minutes in the water :)

  • thats a lot of cheese.

  • @godlood

It is not easy being cheesy!

  • wow this looks thousand times sexier than lasagna

i dont know why my legs are shaking after watching this

  • @ajomehri

    OMG, hope you are okay!

  • ahh nicee! yum yum!! :)))

  • @suelectric

    Thank you Sue!

  • One thing I have yet to try and want to badly! That looked excellent!

  • @skatexpress

I highly recommend this and thanks!

  • I have watched most of your videos. You are a great cook!

However, you seem to use a generous amount of fatty ingredients. Forgive me for being nosy. Please watch out for your health and cut back on some of the cholesterol and salt intake.

  • Comment removed

  • @gleegigi we all eat this kinda foods once or twice a week and thats not causing a problem i guess

  • @gleegigi

    You are forgiven :)

  • white rice to side this would be perfect :D

  • @brighterbeat

    Yes I agree, thanks!

  • thank so much for sharing.....a question....why do you cover it with aluminium ?....greetings from Costa rica

  • @sharonviquezsolano the aluminum foil keeps it from drying out.

  • @sharonviquezsolano

I cover it for 30 minutes to keep it from browning too much, then uncover and bake longer to brown.

I want to make sure it is all hot and not brown too much.

    Thanks!

  • Oh man that looks good!!! Stuffed shells are my fav but I never made them fresh (I cheat and buy the frozen ones) but this got me thinking of doing a spinach, artichoke & asiago blend! Thanks for another fantastic video my friend, definitely gonna try this one!!!

  • @TreasureFiend

Your version sounds VERY good, thanks!

  • Yummy love stuffed shells

  • @virgingirl26

    Thanks!!

  • its close to conneloni , atleast thats the stuffing i use for my connelonis.

  • @NanevicJr

Well then we have something in common :)

    Thanks!

  • Oh gosh that looks tempting....

  • @meowkie

    Thanks!!!

  • I'd love to be able to cook with you. Your recipes are awesome! =)

  • @Lillian0813

    Thank you very much!!

  • I'm off to the grocery store. Those look great!

  • @RunThemAll

  • @Fitange

    Sure thing and thank you!

  • What time is dinner? That looks so good!

  • @rhosteph

I apologize that I did not call you to the dinner table :(

  • i second you on the small spoon use, otherwise i am tempted to use too much filling :)

    xoexo

  • @edenbainbridge

    Eden!

I just love you to death :)

  • @freitasex the first time i made stuffed pasta shells i did not cook them first... they came out a burnt mess of nasty. in my defense i was only 8 years old ( a budding young foodie) my next attempt at making food was a mess of biscuits only my goofy @zz did not know the difference twixt a tbs & a tsp... they came out awful. i clearly used the wrong measurement of baking powder, lol. gotta hand it to my parents for choking the food down :)

    xoexo

  • That looks absolutely yummy! I'm going to try this for sure! Thank you for sharing <3 :)

  • @TheRajKumary

    Thank you very much!!!!

  • Just like I'm making stuffed pasta shells. I'm always putting mushrooms. Great recipe! :)

  • @hilija1

    Mushrooms do sound good, thanks!

  • It looks delicious! :D

  • @XxAnnA249xX

    Thank you :)

  • can i ask, why should put salt in your water before you boil pasta?

  • @pudsey123 to flavour ur pasta abit.

  • @pudsey123 the salt keeps the pasta soft

  • @pudsey123 it just adds flavor to the pasta, and some people believe that it causes the water to boil faster.

  • @pudsey123

I put salt into the water to give the pasta some salty taste, that is why.

    Thanks!
