Their 2nd single - which despite it being possibly the hardest sounding track they've ever made, containing some startlingly original brass textures, seems to have been disowned by the band, as it is quite hard to get hold of. I got it on 12" when it came out and played it to death. It is totally unlike any of their other releases. Hear it - you will want to dance to it. And so hard you could rollerskate on it. B-side, 'Cucumber Garden' is almost Cabaret Voltaire-ish. which is a good thing.
it's the very first song on the B-side cover of their China Crisis Collection ( 2CD - red cover ) which I believe was quite limited.. Great alternative songs like The Instigator, Some People I Know Who Lead Fantastic Lives, ( haunting instrumental ) Docklands, Animalistic ( zoo mix )
Gosh! you're right! There's "Difficult Shapes & Passive Rhythms, Some People Think It's Fun To Entertain" but it's not the complete version :) But I can help you
Oh, I dunno. Nothing makes my skin prickle the way the extended version of "No More Blue Horizons (Fool Fool Fool)" does. It's a pricelessly perfect track to these ears.
My old friend wrote and directed an interactive film called that, btw.
Of course we can both agree that Eddie and Garry were (and still are) top-notch! Actually, I often listen to the Diary of a Hollow Horse album more than the others, even though none of my favourite singles were on there.
Another way of putting it: better bad China Crisis than best Hootie & the Blowfish.
Great song !!!

Giod, I haven't heard this in years. Have it on 12" somewhere - they never sounded tougher.
