  • I shit myself then y cat was jumping on my laptop and I look screen sideways :L

  • Great tip. Thanks!

  • Thank you, I accidentally changed the orientation and didn't know how. This saved me a crick in my neck. Excellent!

  • Thank you, mainly for helping me "fix" this, lol. MY CATS, yes, MY CATS, did that to my screen! So I lay on my side, and googled screen rotation and watched your vid so I could get it back to normal. I wish I'd had my webcam running at the time so I'd know which one did it! (S)he could get a bath while the good cats got treats, lol!

  • help! mine doesn't change. is the trick only for asus pcs?

  • dude ur the best :D

  • cheers buddy.

daughter was pssn about with it pressing all buttons.

  • TRAP! it doubles as a way to make people believe their pc screens broken =p the amount of people that came to me asking if i can fix this...

  • I got an ASUS EEEpc 1000HD and it used to do that until now for some reason...just when I needed it. It all that cntrl alt arrow does is scroll in IE and nothing on desktop...i wonder if i lost the program...

  • Too bad nothing for Linux.

Thanks for the video. Nice trick!

  • Thanks alot,i accentently lent on the key board and made it rotate & dint know how to get it back to normal lol Thx :)

  • Functionality of electronic ebook reader, great!

    Thanks for vid!

  • if by 'anu' you meant 'any' then, sorry, but you're wrong.

This hot-key only works for that type of video driver.

I know this because my school computers use the same driver and we did this as a trick all the time. however, the school started updating, and removed the driver. Thus, the screen rotation doesn't work anymore.

  • this hotkey has nothing to do with the video card driver, it is a windows hotkey, that works on all windows computers, it can be disabled however, which is what your school must have done

  • Haha, i totally used this when my sister messed up her computer and couldnt figure out how to change it back to normal, thanks!!

  • Hi, i have a problem with my pc screen,.. when i move the mouse to scroll she page, the page moves like waves instead of moving in a uniform way.... it there any thing i cam do?

  • This problem usually occurs with firefox for me. What i did was to go to Tools => Options => then make sure that "Use smooth scrolling" is checked. Hope that helps! (^_^)

  • No prob.

  • i was hoping this would work on the eee... better for when i install a touch screen :)

  • can't you simply do this with the nvidia control panel (in windows) or nvidia-settings in linux?

  • i'm stupid, ignore my comment

  • ha ha ha , EEE PC is use linux boyz and so you can customize the hotkey for rotation

  • FANTASTIC.....thanks for posting

  • Your welcome.

  • I think it works aswell if you just press alt gr and the arrow i think... Try it anyways

  • haha, it really works ^^ haven't thought about this option...

but this screen rotation thing was actually one of the first I explored...! btw, altgr+down will turn the screen upside down

  • I love the song ! What's it's name ???

  • blake lewis- break another

  • thsi would be even more tactile and useful with a touch screen mod.

  • why doesn't this work on mine?

  • AWSOME TIP !!! THANKS SO MUCH !

  • No problem at all.

  • This works on most Intel Graphics equipped laptops btw :)

  • doesnt work on mine i cant get my screen to change direction even although iam using windows xp

  • not sure what to tell u. ur on the eee pc with xp and non modified graphics drivers?

  • You should try installing an accelerometer in it...

  • hooray! Merci à toi! I didn't know that it's actually possible in the Eee XP. Again, one more reason to fall in love with it!

  • Your welcome, im glad you found it usefull. I also had no idea untill it was pointed out to me.
