I also just came back from War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City. Eye opener what kind of beasts these American soldiers are. Killing old men, women, children by cutting their throat, torturing and shooting them. The SEALS captured prisoners for info...they were tortured for days. Horrible torture chambers where snakes were inserted into women's vaginas, needles stuck into fingernales, electric shock, cutting off limbs one at a time. No honor being a US soldier, only shame.

America is 2-faced - there is the America that loves freedom & Hollywood and the America that supports military dictators, arms proliferation, wars and imperial domination. The Americans u love killed millions of ur own people and r the same Americans today that are allies of the Vietnamese govt. Go figure. is it cuz Vietnam today has oil and resources US needs?

I doubt you know any Vietnamese who lived through the Vietnam War let alone fought in it. Ask any elderly Vietnamese and they will tell you that if America one Vietnam would be a better place.

The millions of people? I would like to see facts on that. If you want to see massacres in the Vietnam war, search up the ones done by the communist. They were more often and much worse.

@tim30006 Uh I am Filipino. My father-in-law was a Colonel who who served in Vietnam for 5 years in the '60's. Most the G.I.'s passed through Philippines to and from Vietnam. We even trained them in jungle survival in Subic. I read about the Vietnamese Generals and fighter aces. Heroes of the war.

You were not even born there I see. You should go back to your roots like Kunta Kinte and look at your country's history. Have you been there? 4 million tourists visit each year

well his teammember klann told a different story.

he said that kerrey ordered and participated in a cold blooded massacre of 20 unarmed civillians old ppl ,woman and children including a little baby.

it was part of a cia program named "contre coup" wich was meant as a death squad kiling civillians in vietcong area and blame it on vietcong to horrify the villagers and to make them avoid any contact with the vc.

thats exactly what happens right now in iraq and afganistan with the market bombings

im making my own decisions from things that ive seen at the museum and accounts given by others under his command that night who totally contradict what he says happened. he says in his auto biography that that night changed his life . if so why did he right 3 lines about it and completely fob it off

Bob makes light of this but what they did was to scale a 350ft cliff at night by hand and they let themselves down by rope to the enemy encampment as there was no other way to go in unnoticed. He got hit and still kept command and they came away victors with serious intel and prisoners. This was no cakewalk and he a deserved his medal.
