my grandfather have been smoking 20-30 cigarettes every day for he was 13, he is now 78 year old. He still works, he is a lumberjack just like me. So i dont realy think smoking is always the reason for cancer.

I don't smoke at all. Call me square if you'd like, but I can't stand the smell of it. Whether it be from cigarettes or bongs or whatever. Also, smoking weed in excess can still lead to bronchitis. All drugs in excess eventually does some sort of physical damage. Cigarettes just happen to provide permanent damage VERY quick.

why do government runs the add, say do not advertise, not around kids, not in the public places, not in the bar. If it is sooo bad, why can't they just make it illegal. maybe if they do, they can frustrate soooo many people then can they say okay in year 2020 smoking will be illegal. Over 3,900 children under 18 start smoking every day and I can't figure out why. I guess they think it's cool to smoke or maybe they don't realize that nicotine is the most addictive drug ever, over cocaine and heroin. There is nothing cool about smoking. Ask any smoker in their 40's and 50's and see how cool they say smoking is

Driving a car only kills if people are irresponsible and on occassion because of an accident (falling asleep, not seeing something). People die from eating unhealthy because of allt he crap companies put into processed foods (example: MSG). Things that are bad taste good. Smoking causes problems not only in one person but everyone else yo are around.
