Unreal. I usually don't go to day games because night games are a personal preference for me. But of all the days to go I decided to buy two tickets for this game about an hour before first pitch on stubhub. Seeing as it turned out to be a once in a lifetime event I'd say it was a good thing I decided to go. I would've kicked my self in the ass if I would have missed this. Go Sox, Go Buehrle.

Compare that to the 3+ million turnout the previous year for the Red Sox parade -- in the pouring rain no less. (Google "3.2 million toast Red Sox".) Yep -- thrice the turnout for a team in a market half the size. And THAT'S what I mean by "miniscule fan base."

There was an annotation within the first two seconds of the video that took a pot shot at Cub fans, and that's what prompted my original response.
