I'm inspired. I like how you really capture the essence of the era in an understated way

  • amazing:) xx

  • sound awesome:))

  • I do not know how much you payed for that machines but it must have been very expensive. Did you ever concern live giggs? Your sound is so great and clear, leaving no questions behind.

Youcouldbe an icon in the homosexual-scene (wether you belong to it, or not). Play live and money will come for new gears and so new feelings! Try to make a picture of yours and SELL IT! ;)

    Greetings from Germany

  • iloved this tune!!!

  • @thesynthfreq

Hi got a question did you use any filters for your sound?

    Greets

  • how to sync ??

  • @allanyamaha Hi. :) How to sync the Jupiter-8 and 808 together. In this song, the 808 and Jupiter-8 are synced together using a 1/4 line. The 808 triggers the Jupiter-8's latched arpeggiator.

808 and Jupiter-8 love each other. haha

  • @TheSynthFreq | thanks TheSynthFreq , awesome channel!

  • @TheSynthFreq thanks :)

  • Fantastic...

  • love this one.

  • This is a really nice ans somewhat different track from your more usual 80's tracks, while it still has a certain feel of 80's it seems sort of a modern 80's track if you know what I mean. Personally I would have run the arp through a delay but that's just me, I'd run everything though a delay lol.

  • @Yorkshirelad69 Delay makes everything sound awesome. :)

  • wonderfull !

  • this is great. i love how you really get into the natural gravity of the synthesisers you use.

  • @suitandtieguy HI :) Thanks so much. I try to learn everything i can about each synth and what it can really do, I even study the service notes so that I know how each part works too. I hope to do for JP-8 and 808 justice musically. They are both inspiring and beautiful machines for sure. Nothing like them.

  • I bet you dread the day your friend is going to pick up the JP8. Are you going to get one yourself? This track btw is another ripper.

  • @Geeljasjes Hi :) Yes I dread the day the JP-8 and 808 leave me. I am in love with them and get sad when I think of them not being with me, but I am very grateful that thier owner was kind enough to let me borrow them and love them and allow my dream synth to be a reality even if temporarily. I cherish every moment with them as I do my own synths. :)

  • That was 6 minutes of total AWESOME! WOW you sound amazing. I hope you have a way to getting more of that bliss out to the rest of us. iTunes maybe?

  • This is an entirely new level of musicianship from the two of you. "Freq in'" awesome!

  • @willrobinsonensoniq Hi Thank you so much!. :) We are always working on becoming better at composing and performing and no matter what level you are on, there's always more to learn and accomplish. :) Even after 22 years, the journey of being a composer/synthesist is just so exciting and fulfilling!. :)

    :) TSF

  • Know you've heard it before from me, but out of all of these so called "synthesists" and musicians, you have really done so much justice with your accomplished playing and displayed such skilled programming - makes me jealous. As I've said before, you certainly deserve to own such beautiful analog instruments - really. If I had the money, I'd donate :)

    Best regards.

  • @calyx93 Hi :) Thank you so much for your awesome words. :) Makes my day to read. :) I really love the Jupiter-8 and 808 as they mix well with my other beloved digital synths. :) Once JP-8 and 808 (who do not belong to me) make the trip back to their owner over seas, I will miss JP-8 and 808 terribly. Making the most of the time I have with these two incredible machines. I am in love with them for sure. :)

Best regards and a synthtastic day from Texas.

  • You are really hooked when your bedroom is so filled with synths that there is hardly any room for the beds. Great performance, thanks for the post.

  • @mattsynth Yes :) hehe A room is just not a room without synths everywhere. lol We have had synths around us since we were 6 years old. I think my room belongs to the synths more than to me hehe :) I love my synthies.

  • fantastic!

  • @retrosound72 Thanks! :)

  • Wow !!!

    Very nice !!!

  • this is one of the best songs u did..lovely vibes, great atmosphere

  • great track girls, keep them comming :-)

  • I swear one would think you 2 were born in the late 60s to early 70s by your amazing ability to capture the 80s style so well. And I know you're both too young for that. LOL

If I were to guess, I'd say whoever raised you must have listened to mostly 80s music. The only reason why I think or say that is cause one can study a style of music or an era of music all one wants, but their expertise still isn't the same as someone who would have grown up listening to & experiencing that style of music.

  • @chrishooper68 :) Yes, we always listened to 70s and 80s music all the time when we were young. We were teaching ourselves how to play synths starting at 6 years old, and the first song we taught ourselves to play was "RainForest", from then on we realized that we could take what was in our minds and make it happen musically. I'm thankful our mother had music playing all the time. She had an awesome collection of tapes from the 80s.
