@Flienlow ls1's rarely catch on fire unless someone doesn't do the work right when the start messing with the interior. They can take a beating and are very reliable.
I was very sorry to hear about Bud's and his daughter's deaths. I didn't know him, but my sister-in-law knew his daughter. I had planned to fly local out of KCXO that morning, but decided to wait until the afternoon. Glad I changed my mind. I wouldn't have wanted to be in the air to hear that. My condolensces to his family and his daughter's family.
@JeanPernicia In this video the radiator is mounted near the firewall. The company that did the FWF package, Geared Drives, redesigned the system and there are now two radiators, one on each side of the headers. The LP1 aircraft from Algie Composite Aircraft uses this same engine and the radiators are actually mounted in the rear of the aircraft.

Yes, This Plane. Bud was an innovator and a great problem solver. He will be greatly missed .
