dirty bombs are a red herring to the extreme. They simply arent deadly. The only isotopes that could do real dammage are so short lived that you literally wouldnt have time to strap them into a bomb and transport them. As for using AM241, so long as you dont eat the dust or breathe it in for more than 48hrs straight, it wouldn't do a damn thing to you.

every military that has researched dirty bombs as weapons have all concluded that dirty bombs are ineffective as weapons. Unless one goes off and no one cleans it up and you stand in that place for at least 2 years straight you have nothing to worry about it.
