I definitely don't approve of what Biden said, but I also wish the country realized that the country's tax burden (federal, state, and local) is the lowest since 1950 (9.2% while personal incomes have dropped 2%.) The average for the past 50 yrs. is 12%. Of course, this is the very opposite of what you hear from the Tea Party folks and most people in the GOP. Maybe the veep could have asked him what services he wanted to give up.
