@morteza2004 Hi I don't have 1GB. The loading time is restricted by the USB bus I guess. Takes a minute or so to load the S700. Playing there is no delay, it's just the same as internal. The motif is great buit if you're just looking for sampling, maybe you should get something dedicated to sampling or use PC. It's not the primary purpose of the Motif.
you are very talented and creative, i wish i could play normally octave notes like you, who have this tremendous skill. by the way, great composition, sounded very original to me, keep sharing creativity!
@MrJackanthony Exactly, the Kawai is just connected by MIDI to the Motif. I put some sample RAM in to the XS (Cheap PC RAM!) and then loaded the bank from Yamaha which includes the S700 and several other sounds for free! Only disadvantage is having to load it everytime but I can live with that. The standard piano of the Motif is not bad also.
Very strange setup you've got there, never seen keyboards lined up like that before. Does it work well? Nice tune anyway ;)

hi
how is it going
I want to buy motif xs for it's sampling capabilities.
I'm just wondering if you can tell us the loading time for 1gb piano sample ( the whole RAM) and is there any delay in playing with this.

I'm Kind of new to to sampling and the like. How did you get your motif sounds into the kawai?
MrJackanthony 2 years ago
Or are you using the KAWAI as a controller?
