  • I love this song...so deep, but seems so bright, cheerful, and simple.

  • super loveley

  • omg, people are obsessed with her surgery. lol! I think she looks beautiful!

  • I think that people (myself included) have a problem with the botox/facelift because we thoguht that Tori would be against that.(more precisely, above that)

She was never exactly a follower of trends and never felt the need to meet illogical expectations such as this. So this (the surgery), imo, goes against what i thought Tori stood for.

I also believe that if something makes you feel better (and doesn't affect others) then just go with it...

  • what stupid shit....

    "above that"

come on...you're just full of prejudices...

  • It's becoming really tiring how dense some youtube commenters have become.

Please read the last part of the comment before making moronic comments.

Tori used to be all about "empowering women", "you are beautiful just the way you are" and similar sayings. This doesn't exactly conform with what she's doing now. But, people change and it's her life. And she's still making good music so that's what i'm concerned with.

  • @fionasapple I don't believe any one is "above" the pressures that our Western patriarchal culture of supply and demand puts on women (to 'keep young and beautiful' etc.). Tori Amos is a part of this culture as much as the rest of us. It's disappointing that these pressures exist but I don't hold her in a negative light for succumbing to them. In our own ways, haven't we all?

  • @fionasapple O stop! Tori is great but not immortal. She is gettin' old/gold like the rest of us. Why wud anyone be against looking the best you can. Sometimes 'the best u can' means a lil help from the knfe/syringe. Has she ever said she was against Psurgery? Ur drawing on ur vision of her being some sort of Earth mother who withers naturally with the leaves. PLEASE! So u don't like the results?! Well they're not for u; they're for her. UGH u so-called Torphiles annoy to no end! Let her grow!

  • @fionasapple I kind of disagree...she's always been into fashion and shoes....and the industry sure is brutal. I think she looks amazing. She's almost 50

  • UM Tori Amos has been around since 1991 and GAGA has been around for like 5 minutes.... and to compare the two is impossible. TORI the GODDESS and GAGA is well... GAGA!!

  • let me restate myself, GAGA is sooo TORI lol

  • Thanks a bunch for this video! "Never Seen Blue" is a favorite... And the video really captures her expressions and how her songs literally emanate from her whole self :)

I'm so glad her fire is still burning. It's different from what it used to be, but it's still there. Definitely.

  • Tori I will love you even if you are creating music when you are 75! I think you are still an milf with or without botox, who cares? She is not a model folks a musician

  • botox? more like brow lift....

  • part of what is wrong with this world is that people seem to care more about physical looks rather than the music, lyrics, and melody. Who gives a damn what Tori looks like... she's incredibly talented.

  • I sure don't care! Tori...I love you I love you I LOVE YOU!!!

Can't wait to see you next month at the Detroit Opera House...

  • Botox, surgery; who cares?

I do have to say that I love her hands. No botox there, and they are beautiful. Reminds me of my mothers.

  • I know what you're saying, I love hr hands too.

  • WTF!

could you all just pay attention to the lyrics and melody, and leave all the talking 'bout aging and surgery alone?

  • One of her best songs.

She looks fine, but it's about the music.

  • It seems to be about someone she knows (a girl obviously), and who uses drugs but still has to put hereself up with the entertainment business.

  • I'm really wondering why with everytime a watch a video of Tori's performances of this year, the main argument here on Youtube is about her doing botox or going through plastic surgery. Why should that ever matter to begin with?

There are so many other topics that are much more interesting starting with a video of Tori. For example, does anyone know what her new songs are about? I really wonder about Curtain Call.

  • Im so with you. Some of her fans are sooo lame. Im really looking into curtain call. let me know if you hear her say anything.

  • Well, there was another response from a fan in another video who said that it was about her struggle with the record industry and executives not really gving a fuck about the music. Something like that.

  • It annoys me so much! Who gives a crap whether or not she's used botox? She's freaking hot, no matter what she looks like. And does absolutely nobody notice the sounds coming out of her hands and voicebox?

  • Exactly

  • LOL We all need our words... don't we...

  • Love this woman. There's no shame in cosmetic surgery. Other celebrities and even everyday people have procedures done, why are some people nailing her into the ground for it?

She looks great, she sounds great.

An artist is going to grow with time, so,

stop demanding that she write what she

wrote in the 90's, she's a different woman

    now, she's said it herself.

So pleased with this latest album. =D

& she's on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno....

tonight! lol I am quite psyched! =D

  • too cute! she forgot her lyrics! and handled it soooo gracefully!

  • i'm happy she got plastic surgery there is nothing wrong with it and i like how she's not ashamed by it

  • Why wouldn't it be? Tori is very pretty, but she did enhance herself by whatever she had done.

  • As in plastic surgery or whatever else she may have got.

  • is there something wrong with enhancing yourself? It's not like she went overboard.

  • she´s made of plastic now. poor tori.

  • is there something wrong with enhancing yourself? It's not like she went overboard.

  • but she looks...not quite human anymore...I'd rather just see lines & wrinkles from a lived life

  • Well I guess it's all personal perspectives. I think she looks very pretty even with the enhancement - looks very human to me. As we advance in studies we should be able to use them, in my mind. Also though she is on the tele so shes bound to look different then in real life.

  • it just disturbs me that you say, "she looks young & hot," as though there would be something bad, per se, if T simply looked her age--why can't we find a woman with life-lines attractive? why doesn't anybody feel at least a twinge of guilt that women performers feel this pressure NOT to age (aging is, after all, very human)? T has done so much 4 the advancement of women as songwriters--I'm just not convinced injecting toxins into her face that cause paralysis of muscles is also an "advance"...

  • I dont think it's pressure.. with our advancing technology we should be able to use it to make us feel comfortable. Obviously she wants to look young if shes getting botox.

  • There is a difference between wanting to look younger and not looking older. I think Tori is aiming for the latter.

  • I really dont think there is a difference between the two. She should be able to do what she wants to her own body.

  • well...what if she wanted to mutilate her own body, through cutting, or an eating disorder, or even suicide? I wish it weren't so, but some things women learn to want to do to ourselves in this culture can be self-destructive, not to mention, just kinda sad...again, I don't think T should feel ashamed, but I also don't think it's fair not to be allowed to say anything against a culture that makes women feel they need to do this stuff to be beautiful (Tori's songs make her beautiful, not Botox)

  • I understand completely where your coming from, but why shouldn't you be able to do what you want to your own body? There's nothing wrong with trying to look young, and there's nothing wrong with lettting your body age naturally.

  • sorry, it's simply absurd to call sticking needles into your forehead & paralizing the muslcles or your face an "advance"--& WHY should she want to look younger than her age, what would be the shame in looking older? What happens to women who DON'T feel comfortable going under a knife to erase the natural signs of age, & why does a woman aging make people so uncomfortable, I wonder? I do think these are relevant questions with T in particular, given her feminist, fuck the establishment stance.

  • She's not made of plastic. Looks like botox to me, and to be honest she still looks young and hot.

  • I think the Viennese performances from 5/7 are EXTRAORDINARY, just freaking AMAZING and some of the best ever, so I won't say she's "lost it" or anything. Plus she and I are the same age and dammit, the memory ISN'T what it used to be...lol. All that aside, she does seem low energy here, & there are minute pitch issues which do happen to singers when they are sick. I have to also add even though it'll get me some ire...in this video, there's too much botox in that forehead. :-(

  • No one can keep their vocals safe from age but it does seem like she's especially dumbed down these recent performances. Wasn't she sick and postponed for a while? Maybe she just had to keep it mellow while she gets better.

But it does seem as if she is more concerned with her appearance than her performance lately.

  • ________ =( ______

  • I'm sorry...but she slows the song down so much until it's dead at some parts...

she does that quite a lot lately...and I have to say I don't like it and wonder if it has something to do with decreasing vocal or playing abilities...
