  • the cop should have tasered the shite out of the street preacher

  • they are public servents why they afraid of the camera.uneducated cop.

  • What do you expect if you dont listen to a police officer, he is just going to say ok you win and walk away? FAT CHANCE

  • You say he's trying to 'bully' you. Interesting how you can't hear him over the other guy on the megaphone, but from what I heard, he was very polite. Ever heard of Chairman Mao? After the occupation of Tibet, China installed loudspeakers in Lhasa blaring Communist propaganda. What you are doing is no better.

  • @ Preacher717

YOU R RETARDED! LET THE POLICE DO THEIR JOB AND STOP BEING AN ASS HOLE YOU KNOW YOU WERE PURPOSEFULLY ANTAGONIZING HIM! UR A REAL COWARD!

  • the cop should have smacked the silly christian queer accross his face. i would have.

  • I think the cop was acting with extraordinary restraint and professionalism. You are a moron.

  • these preachers are troublemakers. the truth is this... they incite violence. they incite hatred. they incite all things un christian. if they want to know hell all they have to do is look in the mirror.

  • I don't understand why the question couldn't be answered. And he has the right to ask you to turn the camera off. It's his right.

  • you say theyre supposed to act like civil servants? Seriously if you lived in Vegas you'd know half the shit they put up with leaves them with a short temper, if you dont have a problem best thing to do is move out of their way. If you do have a problem take it up in court because they will kick your ass

  • You got the wrong Metro Officer. Most would throw you to the ground and take you sorry ass to jail for being a fool

  • Is it really so suprising that the officer above was agitated by a camera in his face and a boom mic toting citizen disturbing the peace? The message in question is irrelevant to the uniformed man's reaction. He simply saw the camera man and speaker as potiential rabble rousers and attempted to disburse said disturbances. How is this a rationale way to dissiminate information? I mean really, how does this register as a logical venue for whatever it is you want to see done? Is it recruitment?

  • steven your an idiot. not everyone who gets a G.E.D. has academic issues. most of the time its circumstantial when someone gets their G.E.D.

  • man whats wrong with these world

  • If your ass is in this house, its MY ass

  • In the first place you need to have a street permit to stage a public demonstration. It doesn't sound like this guy had one. They were looking for trouble and they found it.

  • In the first place you have no idea what you are talking about. The street preachers weren't demonstrating, they were engaged in 1.peaceful assembly in a public place. 2. exercising their free/religious speech in a public place.

The cop is the one who initiated the confrontation and was trying his best to intimidate the preachers and threaten them.

Cop: "I just wanted to know where you are from."

Why? It is irrelevant where they are from. The cop was just looking for an excuse to harass them

  • Peaceful assembly in a public place?? The guy was using a megaphone to annoy the public with his rantings. Therefore he needed a permit. Look it up.

  • He was preaching the Gospel, exercising his constitutional rights. Are you saying that if he had a permit it would be lawful to annoy the public with his rantings?

PUBLIC TO COP: I don't like what the preacher is saying.

COP TO PREACHER: Do you have a permit?

    PREACHER TO COP: No.

COP TO PREACHER: You have to stop annoying the public until you get a permit, then you can annoy them.

    Preacher gets permit.

PUBLIC TO COP: I still don't like what he's saying.

COP TO PUBLIC: Too bad, he has a permit.

  • The fact of the matter is that it is precisely speech with which people disagree or are offended that is protected under the constitution. So, someone in the public doesn't like what he hears. He has 3 options.

    1. Ignore the speaker.

    2. Rebut the speaker with his own speech

    3. Leave

He doesn't have the right to have the speech with which he disagrees silences by the cops.

  • I'm not arguing against free speech. If you are yelling into people's ears using a megaphone that's always going cause a problem with the law. Why don't you try it sometime and see what happens?

  • Apparently the cop didn't have the ability to stop the preacher from doing it, since there is no law against it. This video was about the harassing attempt at intimidation and the officer's threats. The officer didn't command the preacher not to use the bullhorn. All he ended up doing was asking the preacher where he was from, which was an irrelevancy, and using that opportunity to throw his weight around.

The preacher did nothing wrong, which is why the cop walked away in frustration.

  • I've been advised to ignore your statements.

  • I completely understand why you have been so advised.

  • street preachers are annoying people who think they are making a difference but they aren't--especially in places like the Vegas Strip. No ranting fool with a bull horn is going to sway a person there. Street preachers are frustrated because they have no real relevance in society; they think our 'sins' are bringing the wrath of God upon us. Many of these ranters have been kicked out of there own churches because they are so annoying and drawn to conflict.

  • your completely wrong for I attend church on sundays and street preach in sin city on the weekends on the strip I have relevance in society and your sins are bringing Gods wrath upon u read your bible they killed Jesus and his followers for the same reason because they preached the gospel so street preachers must be doing something right the video shows them getting harrassed by a cop study your bible before u make assumptions

  • Not ALL cops are like that...but there seems to be an increasing number of bad ones. That ones an asshole & if there was no camera and less witnesses, he'd have beat you & slapped you in cuffs. God get that dirt bag. Seems to be an increase in those types in the forces now a days. I pray all the GOOD COPS out there, will beat the crud out of the BULLY COPS...i mean, if all the cops are either bullys & the rest allow the ones that are bullys to continue then who is left to serve & protect us?

  • and there in lies the problem. the ones who are law abiding just let the others do what they want and when they get caught it's not a matter of whether the cop is innocent but rather the fact that he's a cop means to them that they have to cover for him, right or wrong. the good cops are supposed to arrest the bad ones, not look the other way.

  • I think it the fact that the minimum requirement to be a cop in vegas is a G.E.D. as for the street preechers I find them very annoying whatever happened to the days of knocking on my door while I was eating dinner than giving me some pamphlets

  • everyone shut up... the cop got annoyed at camera in his face... he has a rights to... i watched the video out of curiousity of ignorance... church guy=ignorance

  • that camera was a good 3-4 feet from his face. if he has such a problem with being on camera, tell them to take cops off the air. it's a bs propaganda show anyway, meant to conditionalize this nation into accepting a police state.

  • Want to know what scares a cop? A video camera and knowledge of the Constittion.

  • fat ass pig.... and i don't hate cops... but that was definitely a pig

  • dbag

  • There will be a problem once the crowdand cameras are off, and he'll cause it.

  • Why do people think that their First Amendment right includes them being able to shove a camera in someone else's face?

  • why do you think a camera was shoved in someone's face? i saw a hand shoved into a camera, by a cop who approached them to harass them.

  • You have a right guaranteed by the American Constitution, to film the police in a public place. I am sorry you have had such bad experiences. But, certain cities have laws about where electronic sound amplifying devices can be used. Why not look up those laws passed by vote, before you go to a city to spread you message?

  • they know the laws because they study them before they hit the streets. i've heard these men cite ordinances on more than one occasion... most of the time, it is 85 decibels, and they do not scream into their bullhorns from what i've seen so far.

  • I have seen videos of this group clearly violating ordinances which require permits for any electronic sound amplifying devices, which they do not get. I have seen them enter college campuses with their bullhorns, disrupting school lessons that young people have paid tuition for. That's just plain rude.

  • cite the ordinance, since you know it, right? they always stay on the public sidewalks, even at permittied events. when they go to campuses, they stay on the public parts of the campus and stay below the decibel limits. they even send their own into the building, to verify that they cannot be heard from inside.

  • Well, ordinances are different from city to city, let alone state to state. For example, both New York and Chicago require permits for any device that electronically amplifies sound (that means the megaphone, regardless of how loud it is, you need a permit). Other ordinances that would be applicable in such a situation would be: NO9 24-220(b)

    N28 24-228

    N44 24-244

    N58 24-220(a)

    N93 24-243

    N128 24-228

    How's that?

  • ok, that's fine. now you need to know what Law really is, because the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is a corporation and ordinances only apply to gov't employees. you are JOHN DOE to them, which is a corporate fiction. why do you think your name is in all caps on legal documents? it's addressed to a corporation and not a living soul. black's law dictionary will tell you this. the united states even defines itself as a corporation under it's own code and police officers are merely revenue officers.

  • yo fat ass bitch santa, shut up. no one cares

  • you cared enough to watch this video...

  • why cant you keep that shit to yourself..... you have churches, if people want to hear ur shit theyll go and look for you.

  • Thats why you have missionaries, to "spread" the Gospel you cant do it from inside the church

  • why did you watch this and complain about hearing a message that you obviously sought out. these men are on the streets for everyone, not just you...

  • Isn't there a bible verse about "submit to the authorities"?

  • Obviously there is corruption i the police force, it's inevitable. Half of the force are high schol bullies who grew up and still wanted power, you have to deal with that just like the rest of the world. You are never, ever going to make a difference by posting these stupid video's expecting a country of 300 000 000 people to listen to you. I can't believe that you actually think pushing christianity on people is the right thing to do. The world doesn't need you to help it, you wont change it.

  • Would Christ want you to judge all cops by this a-hole? Judge not, isnt that how it goes?

  • Christians should lead by example and if someone asks them why they are happy then they can then tell people about their religion.

  • We're not bad people.

    And neither are they.

But no where is it stated that demonstrators have the right to belittle people by forcing their view of religion (or anything else) upon the mass public.

I believe there is an art to demonstration and to reaching out to people.

I'm sorry... But we can't walk around with a 'No Soliciting' sign on me.

  • The police need to protect free speech, keep up the Godly work!!!!

  • Jesus never annoyed people. Your far from the teachings of Jesus

  • Jesus annoyed people so much they nailed him to a cross. I think you believe in another jesus.

  • LOL that was a good one. But he wasnt on the street acting like this is what Im getting at. And no I dont believe in another Jesus. Im pretty sure its the same one. The guy who did miracles right? ;)

But that was a good one what you said. Im still laughing. God bless

  • Of course Jesus annoyed people. The Pharisees and the moneychangers in the Temple. Do you think they hung him on the cross because they werent annoyed they felt he was a threat?

  • lmao your a huge douche

  • Drink some fluoride dude, it will calm you down.

  • bad cops and bad people who leave comments defending them.

  • the cop sounds like he's possibly talking to the dumbest person he ever met. the cop should have stuck a camera in the freaks face and asked stupid questions...

  • This is the proof that preachers do not respect the law. When a cop tells you to move your ass, just do it.

  • the reason the cop is saying something is everywhere on the strip is in the designated "resort" area which means any thing that is not included with that resort is not allowed. why you cant sell certain or preach on corners. the cop was in the right/

  • Hmmm... Your comment doesn't seem to agree with the court rulings on public property nor the recent submission to the constitution the city of Las Vegas adhered to regarding signs on public property.

Check the facts or you might be guilty of confusing fantasy with reality.

READ THE BIBLE AND ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR LORD!

    HE IS THE ONLY WAY

    REPENT

  • Religion is not the way and the Easter bunny aint coming back to save anyone either.

We need to believe in each other and take action ourselves against the government and we could sart by running and just putting ideas into you city counsil, start a blog or something inform people about the truth and the fact their rights are being taken away day by day.

Gosh just check out the latest police brutality video... why didnt he stop?! Their demons! They dont deserve this wonderful experience.

  • You can pass out porn flyers but you cant preach on the corner

  • What a nasty gun chewer lol

  • Las Vegas rules!

  • The thing is that the cop may have been dealing with protesters for hours by this point, every one thinking he has some wonderful new point to prove and is difficult. Believe me, at that point you're tired of it and just want the situation done with. Also, how do you know he didn't just come from a highly stressful and draining call? Were you monitoring the radio, did you have any idea at all? Was it not Jesus who said that if a Centurion asks you to go with him one mile, go with him two?

  • The police did not handle this situation well.

  • You whole religion is a LIE.

Whether this cop was right or wrong - it couldn't be all that bad to have delusional bible thumpers like this off the streets.

Take your insanity to people who want to hear it.

  • prove it...

  • The cop is being a public serveant by trying to remove the preacher from the strip. I would love to remove the so called god and jesus for good!

  • Cops have the right to ask for identification but you do not have to consent to any other conversation with them is they are not detaining you. You also have the right to watch the police via video camera . It is perfectly legal to monitor the activity of public servants. Checks and balances are essential to democracy even though i disagree with religious fanatics bugging ppl but its a constitutionally protected right.

  • show this tape to his boss and i won't be surprised if he got suspended. hahahha

  • People should keep their religious beliefs to themselves in the first place, but to make this officer have to stop and deal with one more idiot is unforgiveable. God is watching, Jesus is crying and you need to quit being a nuisance. It just pisses people off and makes them turn from The Lord. They don't want to be lumped in with idiots such as yourself. AND... by the way, your video quality sucked and your speling does as well! Now THAT'S THE TRUTH!!!!

  • The cop was very professional and patient with these idiots. that they post themselves on youtube being utter morons speaks volumes.

  • The cop should have arrested that cry-baby with the camera! Let him argue the law in court not on the street!

  • The cop was not in the wrong. He has the right to ask questions and find out what you are doing. By putting your hand in his face, he had every right to actually arrest you, but he didnt.

  • watch the video and see if my hand was really in his face. He was ust looking or something but realized the video ould show the truth. That is why he left.

  • I just want to know how you expect to "convert" people by standing on a street and telling them they are going to go to hell.

  • what a joke!!! the police officer was as professional as he could be with the ignorance of the "christian"! i wonder who's the first to call the police when they need help...hmmm....probably the same "christian" that was ignorant on a corner with nothing better to do...GET A JOB! I am embarassed to say i am christian and have a fool like that disrespect the same officers that keep him safe at night.

  • I don't see any "police state" oppression.

There's the cop talking to you but no actual

brutality. And to be honest I'm tired of people preaching about Jesus on the street corner. If I wanted to find god I'd go to a church instead of listening to your sorry rhetoric.

  • That would probably be the least likely place to find God in America...

  • Wow, he showed amazing restraint. I would have mopped the strip with your ass. You're just another asshole trying to make a quick buck. Go get a job.

  • You aren't kidding. What a f'n punk.

  • The slogan of the Boise, Idaho, Police Academy graduating class is: "Don't suffer from PTSD, go out and cause it."

That cop was just trying to ruin your day. Good for you for standing up to him. The sheeple will never understand your actions.

  • you are right stormz we have freedom an that cop did a good thing helping my keep my freedom by getting trash like that out of my street

  • stop giving him a hard time... dont you have anything better to do?

  • HEY! Have some respect! Those tourists did not spend their hard earned money and travel 1000s of miles to listen to your CRAP on Vegas NYE Celebration!

  • Stop forcing your beliefs on me!

  • look who's talking

  • Hey we have FREEDOM to do that!!!!!!!!

  • Keep it in the Church here it belongs, you don't see Buddhist Monks or Moslems preaching in the streets in Vegas, now why do you think that is?

  • FREEDOM do what you want!!!!

  • You also have the right to remain silent.....

  • Yes you do have the right to remain silent, until you are asked for identification. No ID go directly to jail.

  • What country do you live in? No where in any law do you have to show ID for standing on a street corner. Sounds like you think this is USSR or somewhere where you have to have your "papers". I would TELL him my name and answer any question as to my ID, but he has no right to see my ID.

  • I agree 100%. The comment was posted toward the preacher who claims we are "forcing our beliefs" on him.

  • Stupid. You are not allowed to film any individual person with out their consent. I woulda just shot him. LOL.

  • I think they need more people like you in China. Please move there! Youseem to like a police state much better.

  • Ahhh. You must be the preacher. I was hoping you would respond to that bit if bait. Can you tell me why, why, someone would "preach" in such an unorthodox, annoying, and downright scary manner? If have a "word" to spread, they are far more effective ways of doing it that don't make you look like a nutcase, get you arrested, bother other citizens, and disturb the peace. Clearly, you have a mental problem.

  • God chose the foolishness of preaching to save those that would be saved. I am just being obedient. Proverbs 17:11 explains why God sends men like myself to these wicked gatherings. We do not preach a feel good message but a feel bad message hoping to cause repentance unto salvation.

  • film all you want, its Vegas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Im sorry but you said that vegas cops are supposed to act like public servants??? you have to realize that vegas is an actual city like any other, I realize that many tourists visit vegas but, just do what your told.

  • *any wrongdoing.

  • And being the fine Florida resident you are, you should check out Title XLVI Chapter 843 Section 02 -- Obstructing Justice without violence. While it may not be the same case in Nevada, maybe you should research laws in your home state, get familiar with what you can and can't do. Instead of giving scripture (opinions) from the Bible that is based off of faith rather than facts, educate yourself on matters before claiming and wrongdoing.

  • He was inquiring on a situation that could become riot situation because of how many people get tired of hearing your bullcrap hypocrisy, hence take a look at the log in your own eye instead of the speck in your neighbor's. (I do recall you making comments about people...ahem Einstein!)

  • Preacher...you are insane. Crazies like you drive people from the church. Nobody cares what you have to say. As a student of Criminology and Criminal Justice for some time now, I wanted to let you know you have it wrong. Probable cause, or what we call PC, is not needed to do a stop like that, aka a Terry vs. Ohio stop, research it. Reasonable suspicion was all he needed.

  • HE SHOULD HAVE TASED YOU!

  • yeah, just give them another excuse to whip out the chattel prodder. it's not like we don't have enough old people, children, pregnant women and handicapped people being tased already, you tool...

  • Please, if you were a cop you would know that the job of a police officer isn't to be a "public servant". It is to uphold the law, so stop being an attention whore and stop preaching. No one has a problem with you being christian, but we don't need you forcing it down our throats.

  • Police are public servants and instead of upholding the law, the cop in this video tried to skirt the law, and almost broke the law. When he realized his mistake, he walked away.

  • Preaching on the street does not make people want to listen to you any more than putting something on tv. If you want people to respond to you affectionately, simply hold a bake sale or do something that is not abrasive and pushy onto the public.

What happened to love thy brother and turn the other cheek? Hypocrasy. Set a good example instead of being shameful to others.

  • As Jesus, read John 7:7

  • Is there any argument you can't evade by quoting scripture? Try addressing it rationally.

  • Well said. There is no love in this. There is no compassion. THis is, quite simply, attention-seeking. He's not a real Christian. He just pretends he is to draw crowds.

  • Opinion

  • You're a blatant idiot. You went there to get in the mix moron. How many commands did he give you that you "couldn't follow" then you want to know why he warned you?

He explained his actions and you were still an idiot. You obviously don't have any religion. By the way, Preaching on a street corner harbors resentment, preach to those in a church that come to worship.

    Moron.

  • My congregation is on the street!

How many commands did he give me?

oh, by the way if you want to live in apolice state move to China.

  • yeah man, you're a pretty big loser. Sorry buddy, get a life there. You are the kinda people that get everyone to hate us christians 'cause you're overly a freak, chill out...gay video

  • THE PRECHING OF THE CROSS IS TO THEM THAT PERISH FOOLISHNESS!

You might want to examine yourself and see if you are in fact IN THE FAITH!

  • Dude, there are more appropriate places and times to preach. I've never seen one on the Strip at any other time other than this video on NYE. Quit trying to use Jesus as an excuse to show your dislike for the police and try and instigate an officer confrontation. You should be ashamed of yourself.

  • You are mistaken. I like the police when they do their job. I used to be one. I also know from my experience that some police officers confuse their authority with power. They are public SERVANTS not the other way around.

  • 1.There on has to be suspicion to make an Investigative detention. The officer was merely asking you a question. He never forced you to do anything besides taking the camera out of his face. If you had it in his face and/or you put your hand on his face. That is considered assault. Clearly you didn't assault him, since he didn't arrest you. He did his job, and you were disrupting that job with the camera.

  • It is actually called battery not assault.

Assault is when you threaten someone.

You just showed your hand and it looks like a looser.

Know what your talking about before you pretend to give insight.

    Trust Jesus

He is worthy of your trust.

  • Actually it would have been assault you idiot. Because it would have been an attempt at battery. Battery is the actual physical contact. What you did could have been considered assault if you had pursued what you were doing. I do know what I am talking about.

As to your last comment. Why trust a figment of peoples imagination? Try reason, logic, and basic morality. one need not worship an illusion to be just or to trust anyone. Grow up and read something of value.

  • (cont again)... What happened here is you were being a jackass and looking for a conflict. The officer was merely asking you a question and telling you to remove the video camera from his face. This was not harassment nor was it inappropriate. The only thing bad about the officer was that he was chewing gum. So go get a life, get off your high horse and stop thinking the world owes you or your religion anything.

  • I was there because this cop threatened another street preacher and the preacher asked me to come with a video recorder in case the officer engaged him again.

The world owes me nothing but we do have rules and laws that not only we have to obey but law enforcement also.

  • (Cont)... Which he would have done had you actually physically assaulted the officer (which included putting your hand in his face). If he had reasonable suspicion you had committed, were committing, or were about to commit a crime he could have held you and patted you down. That is still not an Arrest. If you had been arrested you would have been read your Miranda rights then actually searched. Patting down in not a search.

  • My hand was not in his face.

I se you are ackowledging probable cause now.

  • Wow, if you think that is actual harassment you should go read the law. Not just the constitution but also the law when it comes to what officers can and can't do.

There are considered three levels of contact that an officer can make with a civilian. Consensual Encounter, Investigative detention (aka "Terry" Stop) and Arrest.

In this case it was clearly a consensual encounter. If he had made a "terry" stop you could have held you in temporary "seizure" for no longer than 60 minutes.

  • There still has to be probable cause.

  • You and everyone has the right to fredom of speech yes, AS LONG AS IT DOES NOT HARASS THE GENERAL public, which your friend was doing yelling thru his bullhorn with sooo many people within inches of him. You still downplay the obvious, you were given a lawful order, remove the camera from the officers face, s/thing every citizen is supposed to obey as it IS THE LAW...

  • Thatwas not a lawful order, it was his desire. Citizens can do anything they want unless there is a law that says he can't. The Government can't do a thing unless there is a law that says they can. When they try to infringe on a persons rights THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW.

  • And it is not your job to deal with it...that is what courts are for...

  • You obviously attempted to warrant a negative reaction based on YOUR actions. Go stick a camera in any bypassers face and see how they react. And beyong that, any officer has the LEGAL RIGHT PER THE CONSTITUTION to compel you to identify yourself, and unless you havent figured it out your sticking a mechanical instrument in the cops face(The camera) which like cell phones and many other instruments can be made to become weapons,

  • You must not know about probable cause. We do not live in a police state (yet)!

Ask Rodney King if video taping cops is a good idea.

  • First of all let s stsick to one subject at @ time. YOu dont need Probable cause to stop someone, ony reasonable suspicion or in your case, consentual contact. The officer has every right to aska you to get your camera out of his face, plus its amazing how the camera panned away as your hand DId go up towardfs his face. YEs, I watched the video many X before commenting. And ask ROdney King how many drugs he had in his system and why it took so long for him to give up?

  • First of all I was there bcause of His harrasment of the other sreet preacher. Second Why do you suppoe he targeted me? I was one of a thousand peopleon the sidewalk. Three, he is a short little man my camera was on m shoulder. He would have had to grow a foot for the camera to b in his face.

  • As you say, the camera didnt lie. As YOU put YOUR hand toward the offficers face, you pan the camera away, a nautral movement, s human response. Secondly, You were there because your friend was causing a disturbance with his bullhorn and oversized sign, which was upsetting the crowd in general. Freedom of Speech does NOT include disorderly conduct Look up the definition preacher!

  • a cop is a "civil servant"... that means they serve the civilian. period. I got a threat for that cop... close your mouth while you chew that gum, or I'll tell your mommy. the pig obviously has a Napolean complex.

  • I agree with VicFangio007.

  • Having a police State is nothing new to Christians. We already knew about this for thousands of years. There will come a time where every human being is tagged and marked and will have constant surveillance on them. Pretty soon, we will not even be able to carry on business and everyday activities without being watched. The Bible clearly speaks on this in Revelation.

  • you're damn right, man. go check out project blue beam, i think you'll find it very interesting.

  • Great work preaching the gospel on the street and for standing up for freedom. However, the police officer NEVER threatened anyone at all. A threat must have 1.origin, 2.purpose, 3.a stated action, 4.belief of that action, 5.ability to carry out the action. So if I say "Your a dead Man" to you, that's not a threat because you're really alive- not dead. But if I'm holding a knife and say "I'm going to kill you". Thats Origin, Purpose, and very believable. God bless.

  • The cop should have stayed on his side of the street. He made himself look like a fool by messing with him.

  • Welcome to Vegas , This shit happens all the time .

  • Last time I checked Police Officers were also citizens having the same constitutional rights as everyone else... meaning if a Police Officer does NOT consent to being video taped he is awarded the right to do so. Really want to video tape someone... try taping gangsters gang banging.

  • what was the problem latter on?

  • There wasn't one. He stayed away from us. His supervisor probably told him we were allowed to do what we were doing and to leave us alone.

  • You're right that a police state is coming. All the government wants us to do is maintain ourselves as mass comsumption units. What the officer did was simply to act like a bully, as can obviously be seen in his implicit threat about a problem later on. The leftists who sympathize with the thug police officer in this video need to WAKE UP and realize their hypocrisy. They sympathize with him based on their hatred of the preacher's message.

  • What police state do you see? The police was asking simply, standard question. I do, however, agree that he should not have threatened to have a problem later on. Oh and last time I checked, police officers were allowed to worship God also...

  • The Patriot Act; hate crime laws that target "thought crimes"; extreme egalitarianism; restrictions on free speech happening all over the western world. We are very fortunate to have the 1st Amendment in this country. Google what's happening in Canada and Europe when anyone speaks against the cultural Marxists' agenda.

  • He has a right not to be filmed if he does not want to I know officers that would have done allot worse maybe even got physical all he was doing was investigating as a police officer does. If an officers asked you to do something just do it, he didnt ask you to strip for him.

  • If a police officer asks you to do something that goes against you constitutional rights you don't have to obey it. Remember they serve the public not the other way around. The reason I was over thee was because he was threatening another street preacher.

  • Yah but it does not reflect a good testimony. Jesus said if someone compels you to go an extra mile...do it" He said this because by law the Romans were allowed to make a Jew carry his equipment for a 1 mile journey. The Soldiers took advantage of this and after 1 mile, made the Jew drop the luggage and pick it up again and forced them to go another mile. It's illegal, but your representing Christ.

  • Jesus had every right to be freed when he was crucified. He was falsely accused and was innocent but found guilty, nevertheless, he submitted. I'm not saying to be a complete fool and always obey abuse of power, but it's the path of humility thats a better first choice. Bravo for standing up for a Christian brother and for doing the Lord's work.

  • Mk. You gotta ask yourself "Preacher" if this is in fact what God had in mind when he said go be fishers of men. I dont think he wanted you to be cynical, or judgmental of others, as that is HIS job. Your seriously out ofline buddy. As for the cop, well, he was an absolute ideot, and obviously wanted trouble... doesnt mean you gotta give him any.

  • I didn't. I just did what I was allowed to do according to our laws.

  • Well, ide like to see you do what your allowed to do according to GOD'S laws next time.

  • God tells us to preach the Gospel and to be as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves.

  • Well, your niether. try reading the rest of the bible will yea? Specialy read up on Paul, and how he dealt with problems such as this.

  • The officer was asking you politely to stop filming him, and you continued to disobey a direct order. But you continued, yet you wonder why we really are not compliant with crazy's like you. Nobody wants to listen to your cult preachings. YOUR IN VEGAS! Take that Sh*t to Utah.

  • Didn't look like he tried to intimidate you at all. Did you have a license to use the PA Bullhorn? Looks like you were harassing the public more than the police officer harassed you.

  • I didn't have a bullhorn sherlock. Where would I go to buy a licence for a bullhorn Einstein?

  • Someone was saying, " God is no longer winking at our sins," on one. Sorry, as far as license goes, I meant permit to use one. Many cities require one. When you go and preach like that, where people don't want to hear it, people can become belligerent. That is what police are concerned with as far as preaching goes. As for calling me Einstein, I didn't call you any names. I only stated the way the situation appeared to me. BTW, I think that Vegas is the modern day Gamorah.

  • Looks like a Napoleon complex to me. Preach!

  • I agree!

  • Dude, you really need to STFU.

  • This is just like the book of Acts! (not)

  • Seems to me like the officer was only curious about where the guys were from and wanted to chat a little...but instead of them trying to be polite and spread the word...the guy with the camera got defensive which also put the officer on the defense...those who preach gods word shouldn't be so bias or judgmental...think about it.

  • The reason I was over there with a camera was because the cop threatened a street preacher. Watch the video!

  • i did but i didnt hear or see him do it...just what the first guy said

  • Hmm...i'm guessing the cop just doesn't like Christians xD
