This was beautifully shot, it almost made me forget for a few minutes how much I hate the rain. I hate how it makes everything grey and depressing. And I hate how you can't walk anywhere without getting that horrible damp feeling because the rain seeps into your shoes and onto the ends of your sleeves and up the leg of your jeans and into your hair. And then when you're experiencing all that damp misery theres always someone who's dry telling you how much they love rain. Sorry rant over D:

I love rain like that. The soft rain that falls, often for days on end as you said. It calms me, helps me sleep. It helps me see the softer side of things, the beauty that I pass by every day but take no notice of. This is the kind of rain that I'd spend all day at the window listening to with a cup of hot tea at my side and a book in my lap. It rains like that a lot here, but I'll be leaving for college soon. I just hope wherever I go, I'll find the rain to greet me.

This is the first snippet I have ever heard from a cover of one of the mountain goats songs. Now, You did a wonderful job, but it doesn't quite have the bite the Darnielle gives the song.
