Truly wonderful music. I feel these masses which are really only "brief" because of the liturgy not used & hardly because of any real brevity in length MUST be rediscovered by scholars.

How could I seriously believe that the Missae breves were among Bach’s „weaker“ works? (Is there anything like this at all?!) Apparently, I was just listening to the wrong recording. Junghaenel’s performance has proved me brilliantly wrong!

Up to now I could not find any 'weaker' works of Bach. Isnt' that strange? No sins of his youth, no sloppy compositions... I came to the conclusion that probably only Bach is a true genius. Proof me that I am wrong!

A good break from my subversive political activities and watching the whole world go over the edge. I usually don't like a non-Gregorian Kyrie however this one was really nice. Everything goes better with Bach. Thanks.
