@Novasov20 if you look at the video 1:14 it looks as if his shoulder stays firm and Elias cant exactly stop and it looks like the helmets smash together and Elias's body goes forward as his head whips back .you could rule it either way but now look at 1:12 both clearly make eye contact and Wilson moves in, but it does not appear that injury was intended and at 1:23 yo see his head fling back causing the injury... I call clean hit because it dosnt look Wilson didn't follow threw with the elbow.

I doubt they'll make a penalty for when players get injured, I mean it's a major contact sport. I'm not saying I like seeing players get hurt, especially Elias, but he had his head down and Wilson's shoulder was what hit him (and the shoulder is completely legal). But I definitely think the players need to be more careful.

As a devils supporter, I can state that the hit seems perfectly legal. The Colorado player only left his feet after contact, and he did not check Elias in the head. It's possible that he could have elbowed Elias in the chest, but that would be just speculation. All in all, it seems clean.
