  • such a good thing to learn but next time can this learning got lesson 9 , please ????

  • Good job and keep up the work and vids!;)) Yeah Im Khmer!

  • Well, I live in Cambodia right now for a few months, and i'm learning Khmer. I'd like to add something lol please read this:

In Khmer, to say "Help Me" you say "joy-ee knom".

Unfortunately, to say "Fuck Me" you say "joy knom" (sounds like "joy" with a bit of an A sound too, "joay"?)

So please, before you go around asking people to help you, make sure you're pronouncing it right. lol

  • theres a differents joy means fuck and juy means help so dont get it twisted when you make fun of our language

  • @jennyfurfur You can't confuse because the are two differents sonority for the two differents words.

help is: joy but the o prononce "ou" like in "you".

and fuck is:joy with the o that prononce "o" comme dans "toy".

So it's impossible to twist , don't worry.

You can actually confuse when you will drink with your khmer friends and say "cheese".

    Ask your friends for that!

Have good time in Cambodia! :)

  • do not say such a bad word like "fuck" ok !!!!!

  • Joo-ah is pronounce like juay? Sound like Thai/Lao word for help choy/soy
