wow, LOL! i did this SO wrong yesterday, i melted a sauce pan of sugar and mixed the pecans in with the liquid sugar and let it cool. yep, you guessed it, i got one masive solid candied pecan chunk i had to chizzle out of the pan, LOL! ;)
