You are with out a dowt one of the cleverest persons I have ever seen. Why is it when we think we are pretty sharp, there's alway some one who comes along and makes your efforts look simple? Nice work, I'll try harder.
@woodificood Thanks! You have some pretty neat wooden devices in your videos too. I like to dream things up that you just don't see anywhere and make it into something real. The helix forms first came about when I wondered what would happen if I twisted a dowel through a spiral blade on a scrollsaw. The wheels are always turning
Man, that is just plain awesome. Such beautiful work. Soon as I obtain a scroll saw I am going to try this out. I love these shapes. Great work Steve.
@RDJim Thank you. I haven't sold any of these, but this one has spent some time on display in an art gallery, and also at the State Capitol in Little Rock. I do sell an ebook that describes how to make them with a scroll saw - on a smaller scale of course. I would like to make more large ones like this if I could find a source for the 1/16" blade stock.
Move over Edison, Einstein and Eli Whitney... Steven Garrison has arrived!
Nice work, Steven.
