I havent tried it out, im buying the parts individually. I think by the end of this month ill finish my rig. But, its one of the best enthusiast bios. You can overclock alot.
Running P5N-d board in my Cosmos 1000 case with older 3.73 Extreme dual core that is OC'ed to 4.07ghz. Running two 8800GTX in SLI but getting silly stupid 3Dmark6 score of 2980.
Yes, using latest drivers etc.SLI confirmed.Windows Ultimate 64 bit. Any help on stepping up this 3Dmark6 score. Note- Runs stable at 59 degree C.
High Temp was anticipated due to 3.73 Extreme dual core was always tempermental.Has Corsair 4mb. Ran "Pi" stress program for 48 hrs burn in with no problem. HELP anyone??
Why not have the North Bridge heatsink fan facing the back of the Case, wouldnt that make mroe sense rather than blowing that hot air towards the CPU or GPU which are already the 2 hottest and most critical components in the entire computer...not very smart...
Dude there are always Naysayers out there that talk shit about a good product, im about to buy the EVGA 780i Tri Sli for my card and buy a second 8800GT. When the time is right and the price is right ill upgrade to something that is scalable three ways. Reguardless the 780i and 790i chipsets are elite in there own right.
This board so far has been a failure, i have one (being shipped back for a replacement). this board has so many issues, the graphics cards fail, the memory setup is stupid and somee ddr3 is inconpatible. i would wait a few months before investing in this board.
no the sata port wont get covered all all there over top of the cards i got two evga 9800gx2 and i dont have any problems at all i love this motherboard it fast
yes dude the xfx 790i and the q6600 will work together. i got the evga 790i and q6600 and it works good together but the xfx790i and the evga790i are the same board
hey logen you say this is your next motherboard that your going to get so what brand and what size memory are you going to use. i dont know what memory to buy im a big time gamer and i just got this motherboard in the mail and i have the q6600 with two evga 9800gx2 so maybe you can help me pick the best memory for the money thanks

price $15,000.00
PC requirements: one available PCIE slot with 2x1200 wt PSU's
