The bible says if even an angel preaches anything other then Christ, let him be accursed. There is no other way to stand before God then thru the blood redemption of Christ. God is light and in him there is no darkness at all. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. If one is approached by a demonic force they will tell you anything but Jesus Christ, their mantra of "love" or there is no sin, is simply a lie. No man will stand before God unless they have been redeemed by His blood.

@luettem Thank you for preaching to us the standard Christian message. Bart Ehrman, bible scholar, says that the bible is the word of man, not the word of God. The bible can be interpreted in so many different ways, and is responsible for the large number of denominations and doctrinal disputes that exist. See the similarity in the life history of Jesus when compared to Horus, Mithra, or Krishna. Consider the possibility that Christianity is just another religion. Have faith in God alone.

I died in my sleep (stopped breathing) when I was 17 and it was the most serene feeling, but I didn't get to go beyond the ceiling because something with great force shoved me back down to my body and I felt a vibration which shook me back to life. About a week later, I woke up in the middle of the night and heard a soft whisper speaking CLEAR English and it said "One day I will meet you; the promises of love," and then it somehow switched to another language that I've never heard before.

@micky050 Some have been but others had NDEs during flat EEG - no brain activity - and here there is no blood flow in the brain to produce even hallucination.

Thanks for the videos LBG. I'm 31 and just now starting to explore my own spirituality. I read your debate on another one of your vids on here about fundamentalism and I agree. It's hard for me to relate to the literal version of the bible. I have for some reason been drawn to Christianity for the last 6 months and I guess I'm just looking for a way for me to understand fully what it's all about in a way that's not too far fetched. Any advise is of course welcome. Thanks!

Christianity is a great religion if you practice it right. Of course, what is 'right' interpretation? The Bible says "by their fruits you shall know" and like in politics, our actions speak our truth. Here preemptive war "out of love of neighbor" does not become a Lamb of God dying on the cross.

If you place God within all humans and the Golden Rule as high as loving God, then you can't produce bad fruit. Also if you look for truth between the lines of the Bible you wont get lost literally.

If you can receive this wisdom from another religion, then you will be fine. If you can't, then search for God within you: "you shall know him because he will dwell with you and be in you." - John 14;17

What's it all about? "God is love" and Jesus said: "love each other as I have loved you," so find God within all and love all. I can send you a chapter on this from my new book if you email me.

cojay28 : Spirituality is not the same as religion. I think of Wayne Dyer as an example of this. Spirituality deals with the way you treat others more than anything else. Christianity is a good social force, but the bible is a quagmire of truth and fiction. Perhaps the approach of Carlton Pearson would be more suitable for you (The Gospel of Inclusion). He is now teaching 'new thought' al la Unity or Religious Science.

wayne dyer....listened to him and he is super creepy lol. I think he's trying to start some cult. Jesus is the only way.....and wayne dyer says do good works but unfortunetly we can't get to heaven from good works. thats why Jesus died for us :/

To know yourself is to know God. Christ is your Divine nature.

@k0smon Yes your right that spirituality is more than religion. I totally agree, however Jesus isn't a religion, he was the son of God. So you dont have to be a catholic or protestent or whatever... you just have to accept jesus into your heart. But she didn't die. It sounds like she just had a very vivid dream. I have had dreams about "flying" to heaven before. I never equated them with near death experiences...I didn't die, I had a dream.

nicksblog : Non of these people died. They call it a NEAR-death experience. It goes way beyond dreaming, and often involves out-of-body experiences.
