  • @fmxxx69 greenie wingin'... i like that....you think i am bitching for the sake of bitching? its just the attitude of money over all else that gets me. if you wouldn't have posted that "it would be better for YOU if there were less fish because you wouldn't have to work as hard" (or whatever), I wouldn't have had to post that your selfish, misguided, and self obsessed ideas of living are... foolish. .............................but whatever, enjoy your $320, maggot

  • Such a huge mass of fish, the meat isn't gonna be from high qaulity....

  • Cool video. How much hang do you guys usually have in your intermediate? We just rehung ours on our box trawl and it was at 0%. The net would just shut down after about 30 tons in the bag.

  • Speaking of liars, we have problems in that department here in the USA as well yet it isn't the fisherman, but special interest groups. We need correct fisheries management, yet all we have here is a starve out of the fishermen! Data on fish stocks in many places is corrupt while having no biologists examining the populations at sea but rather at the dock. Striped bass have greatly reduced in population. Overfishing? NO. Little to no commercial season but a huge recreation season.

  • sustanable fishing is what we need..... OMG

  • cool vid... just keep fishing .. im hungry and my kids too...

  • There will be no fishermen left in business long before there are no fish left in the sea. Politicians scientists and environmentalists will make sure of that.

  • based on what data ? yours or the data presented to the public by special interest groups hell bent on eliminating the commercial fishing industry ?

  • @strikenetter Its an impossibility for the sea to sustain the amount of fish being taken from the sea, as a rod and line fisherman i have seen a massive decline in cod and haddock, and whiting in the last ten years, trawlermen are liars when it comes to admitting there is a problem, The seas around britain are baron, Try fishing morecambe bay you would starve, once the sea is dead there wont be no coming back.

  • @spinaway Fish populations often run in cycles as well. Ive seen what you speak of in terms of population decreases. They often last for 5 years and alas the fish populations of species return. As far as baron seas, we have rivers here that are similar, yet its from pollution though it may not be the case in your area.

  • @strikenetter I understand where you are coming from, the fishing grounds around the british isles have been in decline for the last 17 years, first the winter cod dissapear, then now we dont see spring cod except the odd one, and now the whiting have all but dissapeared, and all other edible speices are becoming thin on the ground, the fishing fleets around britain have been decimated due to the EU fishing policy, The only trawlers you see in british waters are foreign Britain has no fleet now.

  • @spinaway Fisheries mis-management is evident everywhere. Governments seem not to care!

  • not happy with the way they pull fish out of the sea, before long there be no more fish in the sea.
