  • Absolute beautiful fish man.. A great video all around.. One for the vault..

  • Wow, way to put a dead fish on hook to make it seem like you did something, lazy dude!

  • mine was 31" 14 pounds 6 ounces :D

  • Great fish. Screw the haters. The only time they've caught a bigger 'eye was watching TV.

  • LAME! Spend $1000 in electronics and gear, set up a fish on a hook, and walk away and come back hours later. What kind of fishing is that? Now show me a video of someone sitting there, with a rod in hand, attracting the fish to come and strike, then I will congratulate them. You guys are LAZY!

  • @blizzy1900 your an idiot

  • that is a big ass walleye! is that common up there?

  • You need to try BiteMaster angling decoy's!!!!!!!!!

  • hes already dead dude!

  • Dewd! Nice walleye!

  • lol nice fich but i dont have 2 go all tha way 2 canada 4 dat just got 2 go in my back yard lol

  • me and my dad were fishing on a river half an hour a way from my house and every time we were trying to light a fire we would get a hit on my rod we would real it up it was atleast a 14 puond walley but we couldnt get him on the ice cause there was 2 ft of water

  • thats a hog nice fish!!!

  • temeskaming?

  • Nice fish!

  • awesome i live in Ontario and good size fish here too

  • Nice fish. Is this in canada?

  • @Thaiserhoff odds are if it ice fishing most likly its canada but us ice fish some to not as much as canda though cause we have so much ice

  • @WheatThins1 we proudly have world class ice fishing in minnesota

  • my biggest was 33 1/2 and it was about 16 or 17 pounds so if you caught 1 that was 32 and only weighed 9 pounds then that fish is on a diet lol

  • This Fish was 13 1/2 lbs!

  • @kipawalake my comment was directed to the man who said he caught 1 that was 32" and only 9 lbs sorry for the confusion

  • big walleye can be very slow and docile even in summer months. my friend caught a 9lb 32incher at midnight, memorial day on chautaqua lake and basically drug it up to the boat. once he saw us he ran a few times but deff didnt fight like a 9lb anything

  • Where at on Chautauqua Lake? I live in Lakewood so i grew up fishing Chautauqua.

  • if it was only 9lbs at 32". it didnt fight because it was starving! and had no energy what-so ever

  • Hey nice fish!

  • my biggest is a 27 and tree quartes inches

  • Cool, I'd love to pull a fish out of the ice. The lake don't freeze much here in Austrailia though. Thanks for sharing. :-)

  • that place looks deserted

  • Great catch! For the guys that doubt this catch, go watch my video " walleye tip up ". These fish are very docile in winter if you play them slow and steady. The guy in this video did a great job playing this fish and that's why the fish came out of the water so calm. Take a lesson from him next time you hook a big fish.

  • someones never been ice fishing before, lol, trust us, they're out there just waiting

  • fake

  • thats bigger than my fish by 2 inchs

  • Comment removed

  • that fish looks dead

  • You dumbasses who said this fish was dead or rehooked ! Fish are lathargic in cold water you can clearly see the fins and gills moving ! NUBS!

  • no u cant

  • walleye thrive in cold deep water =\

  • holy fuck! nice walleye...i go to kipawa for vacation every summer and this is the biggest one ive sen pulled live out of this lake...i know there are monsters in there but theyre hard to find since the lake is so big (and since i only have a week to do it) we leave out of laniel and go about 20 miles we outfit with 3 seasons camp idk if you know where that is but whatever...nice fish anyways

  • Thats a huge bitch!!! lol

    that is a big walleye

the big ones dont move as much as the lil ones

as the lil ones are more active than the big ones

    nice fish!!!

  • nice fish i caught my biggest walleye this summer while fishing for perch in like 10 feet of water on the edege of a weed bed i was using a bober with a leach and was throwing it out and i did goood cought like 15 walleye in a week every night doing that our group got almost 40 walleyes that week doing the same thinkg i was doing they were all keepers! i dont do much walleye fishing i manily musky fish but the my friedn that i went with was gone so i went with my dad and his group and got walley

  • drop a black bucktail jig with a chartreuse eye down in the holes in the weeds with either a leach or a worm...you catch alot of northerns that way 2.....its always worked out for me...my great g-pa tought me and he used to be "the eye guy" on black lake...just my 2 cents

  • i like how that was no big deal at all. when i ice fish with my buddies. and we catch a fish like that everybody starts yelling and spilling beer everywhere

  • I know. i like how the thing don't move..

  • @schuh69maas That is my kind of fishing!

  • I love putting dead fish back in the water and pretending to catch them again on video.

  • why the fuck would u do that?

  • looks pretty dead to me

  • Nice fish, looked pretty lifeless to me though.

  • that walleye looked pretty full with eggs

  • hahhaha Why his the walleye not moving you all ready caugth him early?????

  • @peeta88 Maybe he had it hooked and had to get the camera ready being that he was fishing alone? Maybe big walleye do not move that much in the winter once they are out of the water?

  • nice walleye

    nice walleye

    nice walleye

  • Nice walleye!! Your video did not include the release of that big walleye (a gene pool specimen worthy of saving). While catching and releasing such a walleye could be considered "awesome", harvesting it could not!

  • i once caught a 34 inch walleye, yup, in lac simard, i picked it up eh, and i put it back, yup , in the back of my skidoo, lol it was already dead, and frozen...So had no choice.

  • hahah, are u sure you didn't hook an already dead walleye? that's what it looked like, but awesome fish though. HAven't caught a walleye yet ice fishing, hoping to change that this year. Be safe.
