I totally agree with you. I still think back to the wonderfull concerts I visited by Shura Cherkassky. I never heard anyone playing like he did. It was very individual playing, and his touch of the keys and legato very beautiful. So i am looking out to a concert of Grosvenor in Amsterdam or any other city in our country.
Wow! this pianist is a new Horowitz or Cherkassky. Unbelievable and very individual playing!! I predict the world will hear a lot from this young pianist in future
A lot of character and style are shown here. He doesn't play this because his teacher told him so. He rather owns this piece just like Richter owned Rachmaninoff g min. Prelude. Wonderful! Benjamin deserves a standing ovation. I didn't know he had a recording. I'd better look it up. Thank you so much for the upload.
