EQUIPOALPHA - multiple costume for the one character is actually very popular with majority of people. Getting to use their favourite character in different clothing and with variety of weapons.

Leon and Ada will return in RE6. The were intentionall excluded from RE5.... for reason's we will learn when its released

We chose the exact same characters and our final time was 6:20, plus we killed the executioner last (150 combo). How come we only got 881,000? :(

You have to save the bosses as long into the combo as possible - they're worth more points by then. With Prison, you should really start killing off the bosses at 120 combo for the best score. We didn't do that in this video but I did in my 1000K run on Prison with Paglie.

Wow, the PS3 Graphics is gooooooood! jesus My computer probably wouldn't be able to handle it, even if it could, this higher graphics is a little more rough and scarier, even though it's realistic. THe lower graphics are more smooth, like RE4, SO I don't mind really. and by the way, I wish you could not load up the equipment screen every time u do a melee move? cause I actually really want to see the melee moves properly, I wish alternative edition was for PC too......

why is it. that only sometimes i get the new melee attacks. Sometimes when i choose chris warrior i get the normal uppercut and neck breaker options instead of rising star .. etc.. Anyone knows (I have PS3 version)

You'll need to have a Barry or Rebecca partner in order to perform Chris' new melees. It only works in duo mode. ;)

@pkgm56 if you use Chris with Rebecca or Barry you get Rising Uppercut and Hammer Elbow, but if you use him with anybody else he has his standard melee attacks.

@pkgm56 When you combine certain characters they get special melee attacks. If you combine Chris with Rebecca or Barry for example, he will get Rising Uppercut and Hammer Elbow instead of his standard attacks.

Choose control type A or B from the options menu. When you turn the camera with the right analog, aim in that direction for a quick turn while aiming. :) You can do it rapidly.

That's kind of a toss up. I use Warrior better on some levels.

HM Chris is pretty hard to use overall against Town Majini since they take two shots prior to an uppercut.

I get the feeling that it really needs to be played from a different aproach considering that there are much more powerhouses to be dealt with on each course...

And that Hammer Elbow looks to hurt quite a bit.

Yeah, Reunion is still fun to play. I just basically play it for what it is. Sure, it has flaws, but it's still fun! ;)

It's tragic that Wesker and especially Jill aren't in it (no Barry + Jill or Excella + Wesker team = WTF), but the character balance is excellent and getting high scores is a lot more satisfying IMO. And I love all the monster changes they made, what with Allyson in PA, dogs in The Mines, archer spawn explosions in Ancient Ruins, gun majini in EF, etc.

@BerserkerSTARS ah cool, thanx, ive just finished getting SS with every character on every stage on MR today, i prefer the way the points are awarded but im still bitter over not being able to mix and match characters from the original mercs. it'd be better if everything (Weapons,ammo, FA sprays etc) had a cost and you could create your own set, so like a magnum would use up alot of the allowance cus its poweful and upgrade it and buy ammo etc, would be so much better

I'm not exactly sure on that yet.

It's something like 1200 or possibly up to 2000 damage. His hammer elbow will not damage Allyson enough on PA to make her spawn a Cephalo yet I think the rising upper will. They both seem to take different damage amounts.

If I shoot a Big Man Majini from too far away with the Hydra then do a rising upper, it sometimes won't kill also. Big Man Majini should have 3000 life.

Thanks. Yeah, both characters melees change a bit.

It's the same for a Chris/Rebecca or Sheva/Excella team also. Both characters gain some new melee.

I think you are right, reunion is more free in the way of kill strategy, but I still think that capcom sucks in this way cause I prefer all the characters in same mode, and no more same character different clothes (5 chris and 5 shevas), what the fuck happen with HUNK, Krauser, Leon, Ada... about your video of course 5/5

Yeah, I must admit, it would be nice to have them all in both modes. In a way, I don't care how unbalanced some of the characters would be in normal Mercs. It just adds to the challenge of using weaker characters to me.

Wesker wouldn't really be as powerful in Reunion when compared to normal Mercs.
